Warm Penguin Holiday Wishes

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a clean and simple Christmas card I made using some stamps from Impression Obsession  I started out by stamping the penguin from Warm Wishes in memento black ink onto white card stock then coloring using prismacolor markers.  Once that was done, I cut the panel down to size, then stamped the holly branches in both corners, colored them, and then stamped the saying.  Once all of my coloring was finished, I stippled some Tim Holtz tumbled glass ink over and around the panel before layering and adding some red brads.  For my card, I pulled out a red scrap panel, cut down to size, added the black border then popped up the penguin panel.  As an after thought, I stamped the penguin again, colored then cut out before popping up over the original penguin for some added dimension.  I'm really happy with how this turned out since my migraines have been on overdrive again.  *sigh*

Yay Nats!

Hello and welcome.  Sorry it's been a bit between posts, my health issues have been giving me fits. However, today I'd like to share a card I made for a friend who's a Washington Nationals fan.   The entire card is made using card stock scraps too.  Gotta use up those scraps you know.

I started out by stamping the baseball onto the actual card in memento blue Danube then cutting down the image panel and red layer to fit the smaller card before stamping everything else.  Once the pennants were stamped using MFP's retired Tailgate Party and then adding MFT's Wendy Alpha, I pulled colored them using copic markers before stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass ink over and around them.  I then stamped the baseball, also from Tailgate Party in memento black onto more white scraps, cut out, then popped up over the main image panel.  As an afterthought, I highlighted both the lettering and baseball using embossing glaze pens.  The only other embellishment added, were matching blue brads.

Thank You Tulip Block

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card with you I finished earlier in the week.  Thanks to my health and migraines, I couldn't post it until now.

I started out by printing off this Tulip Block Square from Bugaboo Digital Stamps.  Once printed, I colored using copic markers before layering, adding brads and then distressing the bottom layer using a fingernail before adding to my card using pop dots.  I then carefully cut apart a wooden "thank you" saying and added using glue dots.  My final embellishment was a black bling flourish.

A Vintage Collage And More Never Before Used Stuff (NBUS)

Hello and welcome!  Today I am guest designing over on the Arty Divas Challenge blog!!  The project I'd like to share with you uses quite a few "virginal" items.  In other words, stuff that's never been used before.

I started out by stamping my never before used (NBUS) image on vanilla card stock in Tim Holtz chipped sapphire ink then coloring using both prismacolor and copic markers.  Once that was done, I stippled some tea dye and more chipped sapphire ink over and around the image before layering.  I then added some vintage brads before, as an after thought, distressed the bottom layer using my fingernail and a little PTI chai ink.  I then took the layered scraps and dry embossed them using a cuttlebug leafy branch embossing folder with my big shot.  Once that was finished, I stippled more tea dye ink over the embossed images before doing the same to the embossed K and Company designer paper (NBUS) on my card.  Before adding the embossed border to the card, I pulled out some decorative leaves I'd never used and added those underneath the embossed border using some scor-tape.  My layered image panel was then added to the card using pop up glue dots.  The final embellishment is a small navy blue bow.  I'm extremely happy with how this turned out since I was creating with another migraine.

Halloween Spirits And More NBUS

Hello and welcome.  Yes, I have one more Halloween card to share.  Migraines, and other health issues, didn't allow me to finish it until today.  For the card, I pulled out a never before used digital image from Simply B Stamps and a martini stencil from Picket Fence Studios

I started out by merging the retired digital image (Spirited Betty) and the matching saying in MS Word, then printing it out on white card stock.  I then took the martini glass stencil, placed it on the folded card, then sponged Stampin Up rich razzleberry ink all over the card then colored my image using both prismacolor and copic markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I sponged the rich razzleberry around the edges, layered and added some pale yellow moon brads.  I then spritzed three markers over the image before adding to my stenciled card.  For my embellishments, I added some fibers from my stash, ice stickles on the drink glass, and highlighted the saying using black/red embossing glaze pens.

Pretty In Pink

Second post from me today.  For my Pumpkin Kitty post, please scroll down one.  This cute little one took me few days to make since I was still dealing with a few health issues.  I've had her printed off for some time, just never colored or made a card with her.  It's gotten to the point with my health of, either try to focus on something besides how I was feeling, or just cry.  Lately, I've chosen coloring as my means of focusing.

This adorable little one comes from Kinda Cute By Patricia and is listed as one of her free images.  After coloring her using both prismacolor and copic markers, I stippled some going grey and pretty in pink over and around her before layering then adding some button brads.  I then pulled out a card with background I received as a RAK and added her using scor-tape.  I then added a black embossing glaze pen to highlight the eyes before adding a small pink bow.

Little Pumpkin Kitty

Hello and welcome. I've had this cute little image from Tiddly Inks called Fall Mavis (now retired although you can still get her as part of this image) for some time and just never did anything with it.  I wanted to go with a fairly clean and simple feel to the card so I did very little with embellishing the card.

After printing my image onto white card stock and, coloring with both prismacolor and copic markers, I stippled pumpkin pie and garden green inks around it before layering.  I then dry embossed a pumpkin pie panel using my big shot and pumpkin harvest cuttlebug embossing folder before rubbing the panel in pumpkin pie ink.  All this was then placed onto a garden green card.  I then added my layered image using pop up glue dots, a small black/white gingham knot, and silver circle clip.  As an afterthought, I pulled out my black glaze embossing pen to highlight parts of the Mavis image.

Five Minutes Before

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share with you a card I made using the Stella I don't always do mornings from Bugaboo Digital Stamps for Bugaboo's October Bingo challenge as well as a few others. For my card, I went with "distress, players choice and die/punch" bingo.

After printing off my image onto white card stock and coloring using both prismacolor and copic markers, I layered the colored image onto scraps of green and brown card stock then adding brads.  I then took my fingernail to distress the outside of the bottom layer.  Next, I took another brown scrap and dry embossed it using the cuttlebug circles embossing folder along with my big shot.  I then took a sanding block to "age" the embossed layer before adding it to a dark green card.  I then added the layered image to the card using pop up glue dots before adding flowers punched from card stock scraps, bling, and two acrylic circle stickers.  My final embellishments was highlighting Stella's glasses using a silver gel pen and sponging some distress inks around the edges of the card. I'm really happy with how this one turned out since it was made on no sleep.  Can we say "thank you migraine".

We're Watching You And More NBUS

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card that took me a few days to make thanks to my health issues.

I started off by printing the Tempest Of Ice image (NBUS) from Stamps By Aurora Wings; then cutting the image panel down to size before stamping the icicles from the now closed MFP Stamp Shop above it.  I then colored everything using prismacolor and lyra pencils along with a blender marker.  Once the coloring was finished, I  stippled Tim Holtz tumbled glass and broken china inks over and around the images before layering everything and adding brads.  For my card, I stamped the icicles in SU pacific point dye ink before adding the layered image.  Taking my blue gel pen, I highlighted the man's cloak before highlighting the wolves eyes in black, and the sword with a silver gel pen. I then added diamond ice stickles to the card, and once dry, added twine along with two wooden snowflakes to finish it off.

A Pink Christmas

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card I've made using stamps from the now closed MFP Stamp Shop

I started out by stamping the tree branches from Create With Pine Boughs in memento black and then coloring using both prismacolor and copic markers.  Once that was done, I stamped the lights and ornaments on to scrap white card stock in memento black, colored, and cut out.  After stippling some Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink over and around the trees, I sponged some regal rose ink around the edges of the image panel and layered.  Taking one of the snowflakes from Snowflake Mini, I stamped the card background in regal rose ink then sponged the same ink around the edges of the card. I then added jingle bell brads to the layered image panel and popped it up at a slant on my card, before adding the lights and ornaments.  Once that was done, I added a few more lights/ornaments by popping them up over ones directly on the card.  For the final touches, I stamped my saying in memento black onto scrap white card stock, punched it out and sponged some regal rose ink around the edges before adding ice stickles to the ornaments and some small felt bows.

Card Games And More Never Before Used Stuff (NBUS)

Hello and welcome.  I've been feeling a bit off lately, even thought I've still been creating.  It's just taking me longer to think, color, assemble, etc.  Today's card was originally started for a Splitcoaststampers Teapot Challenge but never finished until now.

Since I wanted my card to look like it had playing cards on it, so I pulled out a retired, but never before used set (NBUS) called Card Games, along with the matching Game Night designer paper.  After making the card, I pulled a scrap of the designer paper from my recycle bin to use a border by flipping to the back side.  I then stamped the king, queen, jack onto scrap card stock in memento black then colored using prismacolor and copic markers.  I layered each of the cards onto scrap red/black card stock and used my dusty corner rounder punch on each layer before popping up over the border using pop up glue dots.  The saying is from the retired Stampin Up set Game Night and is another lonely, never before used, stamp set.  After punching the saying from the leftover white/black card stock scraps, I added two tiny buttons below the saying; then added a small black bow.

Let's Do The Monster Mash!!

Hello and welcome.  I've had a bit of trouble with the health again this last week so it's taken me quite some time to both make/finish and post this card.  Although I'm not normally a Halloween card maker, "Monster Mash" is just one of my favorite songs so one would just have to make a Halloween card using this cute set from Impression Obsession.

I started out by stamping my monster images from the Monster Mash set then stamped the saying above them.  After coloring the monsters using both prismacolor and copic markers, I cut the image panel down so I could then reverse stamp the spiderweb and spider from the Monster Mash set.  Once I was finished, I then stippled basic gray ink over and around the images before layering and adding silver moon brads.  I then took a silver gel pen to the spiderweb to highlight it before taking a black embossing glaze pen to the spider, saying and highlighting parts of the monsters.  I then added all of that to an ivory card with leftover Halloween designer paper using pop up glue dots.  My final touches were googlie eyes and a black bow.  Now that I really have the Monster Mash song going through my head, I should only share with you as well. ;)

I started out by stamping the background using the dreidel stamp in Stampin Up pacific point ink before stamping the menorah in memento black onto white scrap card stock then layering using scrap pacific point and silver designer paper.  After stamping the saying, I colored my menorah candles using copic marker then highlighting it using a silver gel pen.  Once the pen was dried, I added the silver brads, cord and silver dot stickers.

A Sparkling Wave

Hello and welcome.  Second post for me today.  If you're looking for my Eat Turkey post, please scroll down one.

I'd like to share with you a card I made using a stamp originally bought by my daughter over 10yrs ago at a stamp convention when stamping with mom was fun. She had put it into a box of stuff she was planning to toss when she moved out a few years back, so I took it out of the box.  ;)  I think the image is made by Rubberstamp Ave but I'm not sure since it was unmounted when my daughter bought it.  My hubby made a wood block to put the stamp on.

After stamping the image in Tim Holtz chipped sapphire ink, I colored it using copic markers before layering and adding white brads.    Taking a couple of scraps of black/blue card stock, I dry embossed them using a Tim Holtz cracked glass embossing folder before layering and adding to my card.  I then took a white gel pen to highlight the wave bubbles and diamond ice stickles to highlight parts of the wave itself.  The picture really doesn't do all of the sparkle justice.  The card background is one sent to me by my friend Kelli.  As a final touch, I sponged Stampin Up brilliant blue ink around the edges of the card.

Eat Turkey! Plus More NBUS Stuff

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share with you a card I started a week ago, but migraines and other health issues didn't allow me to complete it until today.  This card was inspired by this flag from the site Flags On A Stick.

Eat Ham Color Me Applique Decorative Garden Flag

Once I saw the flag, I immediately knew what stamp set I wanted to use.  So I dug through my stash and pulled out the retired Eat Turkey set from the now closed Totally Stampalicious that I've never used (NBUS).   After stamping the main image in memento black, I pulled out the Eat Turkey saying and stamped it in the middle of the pigs sign.  I then colored everything using both prismacolor and copic markers before stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass and broken china distress inks over and around the top half of the image panel.  For the dirt, I stippled Adirondack caramel dye ink then layered and added some not quite navy brads.  My card was stamped using Stampin Up's retired Chicken Wire background in Tim Holtz faded jeans ink before sanding the card a tad to distress.  I then pulled out a cocoa scrap, dry embossed it using my Cuttlebug Pumpkin Harvest embossing folder and then also sanding it to distress.  Once my card was finished, I added the layered image panel using pop up glue dots.  I then added some fibers from my stash.  As an afterthought, I distressed the bottom panel of the layered image using my fingernail.

Hello and welcome  I will apologize ahead of time for any typo's since I'm trying to type and listen to Purple Rain at the same time.  Oh how I love listening to Prince. I so miss his music.

Today I would like to share a fairly simple Halloween card I made.  I started off by stamping the web in Tim Holtz weathered wood ink onto scrap white card stock before sponging the same ink around the edges and then layering onto some scrap gray card stock before adding some brads.  I then dry embossed a black panel using my cuttlebug spiderweb embossing folder and adhered it to a stamped orange card.  I then stamped the spiders in memento black before coloring using copic markers and cut out the candy corn to adhere using micro glue dots.  After using a silver glaze pen to the web, and black embossing glaze pen to the spiders and saying, I added some tiny googlie eyes to the spiders.  My final embellishments was a black bow using a small snippet of scrap ribbon.  Here's the inside of the card:

Hello and welcome.  It's been a crazy week around here.  Whew!  Today I'd like to share a card I started last week, however thanks to health issues and family in from out of town, I didn't finish the card until last night.

All the images are stamped in memento black onto white card stock before layering and stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass and wild honey distress inks over and around the image.  After adding brads, I stamped the card in wild honey onto summer sun card stock, added my layered image, then cut out the beehive from a scrap of white to pop up using pop dots.  I then  went over all the image lines using a Sakura black embossing glaze pen, allowed it to dry, before adding ice stickles on the flowers and bee's wings.

It's A Pumpkin Spice Kitty!!!

Helloooooo!!!!  I don't know how many times I've used this adorable Pumpkin Spice Kitty stamp from Impression Obsession stamps.  It is quickly becoming one of my most favorite stamps to use.

After stamping the image in memento black onto white card stock, I then colored it using prismacolor and copic markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I then layered it onto scrap Stampin Up card stock before adding some mini pumpkin brads and popping it up over a dry embossed pumpkin border.  I then stamped the saying from the Mini Peekers set in memento black and also layering onto scrap card stock with the mini pumpkin brads.  Artichoke ink was then sponged around the edges of the card before adding a scrap piece of pumpkin ribbon with a leaf hat pin through the knot.  As an afterthought, I pulled out an embossing glaze pen and highlighted the saying, kitty whiskers, and parts of the cup.

Silent Night Peace Plus More NBUS

Hello everyone.  What a week with my migraines!  Ugh!  Today I'd like to share with you a Christmas card I made using a stamp I bought at least a decade ago and never ink'd.  I know, bad mommy!!!

I started out by stamping the Hero Arts Silent Night image in Tim Holtz chipped sapphire ink onto white card stock.  Then, pulling one of the many Christmas songs I scanned from an old church hymnal before my mother in law passed away.  After layering both of these, I then lightly stippled Tim Holtz faded jeans distress ink over and around the images before adding a light layer of chipped sapphire.  I then added some never before used eyelets and adhered them to a vanilla card along with some designer paper I bought at Costco about 20 years ago and also never used.  Sheesh!  For my embellishments, I added some Stampin Up eyelets, prima flowers plus ornament, and some Rubba Dub Dub midnight fibers I bought at a stamp convention over a decade ago.

Hello Pumpkin

Hello again.  Now I'd like to share a card I made that took me longer to assemble and photograph than it did to color.  Thank you migraines....not! animated-angry-smiley-image-0289

I started out by pulling out some very lonely Die Cuts With A View fall designer paper and then stamped this adorable Pumpkin Spice Kitty from Impression Obsession onto scrap white card stock in memento black ink.  I then colored it using copic markers before stippling pumpkin pie ink around the edges then layering.  Once that was done, I added some pumpkin eyelets then popped up the layer over my designer paper border on a pumpkin pie card base.  I then stamped out my saying from The Cats Pajamas retired Hello Pumpkin set in memento black ink onto scrap pumpkin pie card stock.  After punching it out using a Stampin Up large oval punch, I added it to my card before stamping a miscellaneous Stampin Up leaf stamp from my days as a demo (long ago) in the upper corner.  The only other embellishment used was diamond, and black, ice stickles to highlight parts of the cat image.

Some Sarcasm And Sass

Hello and welcome.  I just LOVE this stamp saying from Impression Obsession. The card I'm sharing today is more of a clean and simple design with a few extra touches.

I started out by stamping the eyelashes in Tim Holtz chipped sapphire distress ink then sponged navy dye ink around the edges.  After stamping the Flirty Eyelashes on white card stock, I added the Sarcasm and Sass saying before layering and adding some never before used (NBUS) eyelets from my stash.  I then spritzed some navy ink over and around the images before adding to my eyelash stamped card base.  I then highlighted parts of the eyelashes and saying using Sakura blue and silver gel pens.  My final embellishment is a small navy blue bow.

Butterfly Woman

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card I made using some never before used stuff (NBUS) I found in my stash.  Thanks to my migraines again, it took me several days to make the card plus get it photographed.

After printing off the Girl Flower Butterfly image from Aurora Wings, and coloring using prismacolor and copic markers, I stippled Tim Holtz wild honey and tumbled glass over and around the image and layered.  For my card, I used a pumpkin pie card base with basic grey butterfly designer paper before adding a dry embossed border sponged with more wild honey ink.  Once my card was done, I added some brushed gold mini brads and popped that up over the dry embossed border.  I then added a punched black butterfly with a bling body, gold clip, and diamond ice stickles to highlight some of the butterflies and rose centers.

Lighthouse By The Sea And More NBUS

Hello and welcome. Today I'd like to share with you a card I've made that was inspired by a recent Impression Obsession challenge.  The coloring of the card took me 4 days and another week to photo and upload.  My health is just not working with me much anymore. *sigh*

After stamping the image (New England Lighthouse C1286) in memento black onto white card stock, I colored it using copic markers before layering and adding silver brads.  I love this image so much!!  Once the image was colored, I stippled some Tim Holtz chipped sapphire ink for the sky and then around the edges of the image.  I then pulled out a glittered navy card and silver/navy mesh designer paper I had bought at a stamp convention years ago.  After adding the mesh paper to the card, I then added my layered panel using some scor-tape.  For embellishments I added some silver star stickers from my stash, diamond ice stickles for the waters edge, and some silver cord for the ribbon.

A Kooky And Spooky Teen And More Never Before Schtuff

Hello again. Today I'd like to share a card I've made for a couple of challenges finally using one of the Kooky Teens Digi Bundle (NBUS) from Simply Betty Stamps.  It's also my first Halloween card for this year using non traditional Halloween colors.

After printing off my image and coloring using copic markers, I created an "image background" by dotting several different grey colors around it.  I then stippled basic grey and Tim Holtz faded jeans around the white areas before layering and adding silver brads.  I then took a scrap of black card stock and dry embossed it using a cuttlebug spiderweb embossing folder and big shot to create a border.  Once that was done, I added the border on a background gifted to me by my friend Kelli.  Thank you Kelli!!!!  After adding some silver cord, I popped up my layered image using pop dots over the border.

A Leaping Lord.....Or A Gnome

Hello again and welcome.  Sorry it's been so long since my last post.  My husbands health is still not the best, and I'm still having issues as well.  Needed to try coloring and making cards again though, so I took a look at the latest Jingle Belles Christmas challenge to see what, if anything, I could do and this never before used (NBUS) little guy from Sheepski Designs came to mind.

After printing him off onto white card stock then coloring using copic markers, I layered onto some scrap card stock plus Graphic 45's 12 Days of Christmas designer paper (thank you Kelli for the RAK).  I then added some brushed copper brads and layered onto my card also using the 12 Days of Christmas designer paper.  I then stippled the entire image panel using several Tim Holtz and Adirondack inks.  After adding some twine, ice stickles on the ornaments, and wooden ornament embellies (again thank you Kelli), my card was done.

Well Hello....

.....and welcome.  I'm sure you've seen my last post stating I was taking a break.  My husband had emergency open heart surgery in May and my entire focus has been on that, taking care of him, and the exacerbated migraine/fibromyalgia issues that have arisen.  Not to mention me having a broken foot.

While I will admit I am totally exhausted from taking care of my husband post surgery, I am very grateful he is alive still.  He was having no symptoms of the blockage that was discovered by accident from an unrelated exam.

I am hoping to get back to coloring, stamping and card making soon.  Thank you all for understanding.

Taking A Break

Hello everyone and welcome.  Just wanted to let all of you know that I'm going to have to take a blogging, and possibly stamping, break.  Just found out my husband has to have open heart surgery ASAP.  Just with the way my body is reacting from getting the news this last weekend, I'm going to have to put my own health, and that of my husband's, first right now.  I thank you for understanding.

A Little Gnome Kindness

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card made using another digital stamp from Kinda Cute by Patricia.  This one is called Gnome and Mouse and is just darling and can be used for all sorts different occasions.

Once I printed off the image, I colored it up using both prismacolor and copic markers before stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink around the edges then layering.  For the grass I sponged Adirondack lettuce dye ink before adding some "faux brads" by punching out four small circles then adhering them using a Martha Stewart glue pen.  I then grabbed some scrap designer paper, adhered it to my card, then sponged lettuce dye ink around the edges of the card.  The only embellishments added were some forgotten scrap ribbon and butterfly sticker that have been in my stash for years.  I'm really happy with how this turned out since I made it while still dealing with my migraine.

Hello Ups!ide Down and More Never Before Used Stuff

Hi there.  Did I make you smile??  Who wouldn't want to smile after seeing this cute flamingo.  It's from Gerda Steiner Designs and is called Upside Down Flamingo and is perfect for any type of card. The saying is from Hedgehog With Sign set.  Both are sets I haven't used.

I stamped the flamingo in memento black ink onto white card stock then colored using copic markers before stamping the saying in the upper right corner.  For the sand, I repeatedly stamped the fern from Stampin Up's retired Watercolor Minis in various brown dye inks. After adding a panel of Colorbok Light Bright designer paper, I added an embossed border then sponged the card edges with pink passion dye ink.  I then highlighted parts of the flamingo using a black Sakura glaze pen.  The only embellishments added were bright pink brads and pink circle clips.

Wishful Swinging and More Never Before Used Stuff

Hello and again...welcome.  Second post for me today.  If you're looking for my Hippo and Butterfly post, please scroll down one.

I'd like to share with you a card I've made using a never before used digital image from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  The image is actually a freebie and can be found here.

After downloading and printing off the image, I colored it using both prismacolor and copic markers.  I then stippled some Tim Holtz brushed corduroy and tumbled glass distress inks over and around the image.  I love the way stippling gives a "softer feeling" to an image.  I then drew the "tree branch" before pulling out my long retired Watercolor Minis set from Stampin Up to stamp the "trees leaves"; another favorite technique.  Once everything was colored up and layered, I added some white brads before adhering the image panel to my card.  I then stamped the saying before punching it out using oval punches.  I then highlighted some areas using Sakura glaze pens.  The only other embellishment is some sparkle dew drops otherwise I kept the card pretty much clean and simple.

Just Because And More Never Before Used Stuff

Hello and welcome.  Did you know that stamping or coloring is a real pain in the booty with a migraine?  Well now you do.  I wanted to make a card to send to a fellow migraine sufferer and figured this never before used (NBUS) cute stamp set I won from Gerda Steiner Designs would be perfect on a clean and simple card.

I started off by stamping the hippo and saying from the Hippo With Butterfly set in memento black on scrap white card stock; just big enough to create a small card.  I then stamped the little butterfly and colored everything using copic markers including creating the grass with them.  I then stippled some Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink light over and around the card.

All Is Calm Winter Scene

Hello and welcome.  If you're looking for my Friend-ship post, please scroll down one.

So far I'm still doing good on getting at least one Christmas card done per month, sometimes two.  For this card, I stamped the image from my never before used (NBUS) Cardinals In Winter set from Mark's Finest Papers which is unfortunately now closed.  Once I stamped the image in memento black and colored using copic markers before stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass ink around the edges of the panel and layering.  Once that was done, I made my own brads by punching a snippet of scrap black card stock and adding using a Martha Stewart glue pen.  I then stamped the saying on a snippet of white card stock before punching using my Stampin Up oval punch and lining with memento black ink.  After assembling my card, using Martha Stewart punches, I made my floral spray and cardinal from snippets of green and red card stock; adhering them with glue dots.  I then added the cardinal's eyes/beak using a Sakura black glaze pen.  My final touch was highlighting the snowbanks, frozen creek and "falling snow" using diamond ice stickles.
