Shifting Shapes and More NBUS #4
Hello and welcome. This month's Virginia's View Challenge is to make a shape card. Not your good 'ol run of the mill normal square or A2 size card, but a shape. So for this month I made a triangle card as part of the yearly Dare To Get Dirty challenges over on Splitcoaststampers. However, instead of publishing my blog post, I must have deleted it somehow instead.
So for my card, I pulled out a stamp set that had never been used before from My Time Made Easy LLC called Singing Silhouettes. After stamping the birdcage in memento black, I stamped the vine and flowers in various colors of memento dew drops before finally adding the birds inside the cage in memento black.
I had also made a second card using a long retired Stampin Up! set called Hand Painted Petites stamping it again in various memento dew drops.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day.

Ink: Memento Dew Drops

Hope You Can Cling To Courage - WCMD
Second WCMD post for me today. If you're looking for my Paper Smooches clean and simple card, please scroll down one.
I have two cards I made today for SCS's Hope You Can Cling To courage challenge. Both of the cards use Paper Smooches Hope set.
The first card is a clean and simple style using Hope paired with some MAMBI designer paper and Stampin Up! card stock, ribbon, baby brads and mini roses.
The second card also uses Hope, however, I have paired it with one of my favorite sentiments from My Time Made Easy's Keep Strong digital set. Again I paired the images with some MAMBI designer paper, Stampin Up! card stock, baby brads, ribbon, and also a pink ribbon brad.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day.

Live The Adventure!
Hello and welcome to a very HOT weekend!! It seems the only cool place is the California coastline right at the beaches, otherwise, it's air conditioner time.
Today I am sharing another card I made for the Moxie Fab Stamp it Cards Congrats challenge. For this entry, I chose to go with a baby theme and used a MTME One-sie© template for my card before stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass and broken china distress inks over the card and along the edges.
The inside of my One-sie© I kept very simple. The saying was stamped in memento tuxedo black and the two images from Wild & Free were stamped in Tim Holtz broken china to help tie the whole "adventure" theme together. I'm very happy with the way this card turned out since I made it while battling another nasty migraine and it was either stamp or cry from the pain - so stamping won.

I stamped the main image from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company set being released in two weeks called Above The Rest in memento tuxedo black ink onto some retired Stampin Up! designer paper, cut it out, and adhered to the center of the card. Then I stamped the zebra and second part of the saying from Wild & Free in memento tuxedo black ink directly onto the One-sie© and then stamped the "Live" from Above The Rest in Tim Holtz chipped sapphire after cutting it off from another saying in the set. My only embellishment was some Making Memories mini silver button brads along the bottom. Then it was onto the inside.

One Ol' Bag - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch Review
I originally made this card while dealing with a nasty migraine. Still can't believe I posted it.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch challenge. This week we are doing a review of sketches 34-40, so you can choose your own sketch to base your card on. This week, I chose to go with sketch #37, however, with a bit of creative license.
Once I had downloaded MTME's new Let's Go Camping digital stamp set and the matching Camp Out digital paper, I cut out and colored the backpack and matching saying to make a birthday card. Once I added my layers and primas with bling, I was finished.

Since I had decided to go with a brightly colored theme, I also pulled out my pad of Basic Gray Lauderdale designer paper and matched up the paper to my card stock.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and make sure to stop by the My Time Made Easy blog and participate in this week's challenge and the Pretty Pallete© challenge too.

Tulips and Butterflies
Hi there and welcome to hump day. I found the sketch on my friend Rainy's blog, aka Susan Roberts, this last weekend, and just had to make sure I got one done, migraine or no migraine, so while stamping my card for tomorrow's My Time Made Easy's sketch challenge I stamped some extra images for Susan's.
After stamping the tulip image from MTME's Bold Botanticals in memento tuxedo black, I pulled out my prismacolor markers and got to coloring before cutting one of the tulips out to pop up later. I then stamped out, cut out, and colored, three butterflies making sure to pop them up at different levels after stippling bashful blue & razzleberry inks around the tulips. Since I had decided on a brightly colored theme for my card, I also added some Basic Gray Lauderdale designer paper to the main image layers as well as the card itself.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and if you get a chance, why not join in the sketch challenge on Susan's blog since the deadline is June 1st.

Finally, I printed off MTME's Bold Boys Pretty Impressions printable designer paper before layering onto a chocolate chip card.

Whoo's Birthday? - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #60
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch challenge. Since I'm dealing with another migraine, I decided to go with the "keep it simple stamper" technique.
My card this week uses MTME's digital Critters With Heart owl image combined with MTME's Color Infusion digital paper. Once I had my owl downloaded and the birthday saying added underneath, I printed it out onto some white Georgia Pacific card stock before coloring with prismacolor markers with Stampin Up! rich razzleberry stippled around the edges of the image. After adding a couple of strips of card stock, faux brads, dew drop and some primas, my card was finished in about 20 minutes. My card also fits the WT374 challenge on SCS.Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and don't forget to check out the rest of the design teams samples and play along this week at My Time Made Easy.

You're A Hit - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #59
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch. For my card this week, I chose to use some of our newly released products to showcase.
I started out by downloading the digital stamp set A Vintage Day for Dad and the Pretty Impressions paper called Bold Boys. Once my images were downloaded and printed out, I pulled out some koh-i-noor pencils and colored the golf image, cut it out, and then layered over matching Stampin Up! card stock. Once that was done, I added some scrap burgundy card stock below the layered image and then adhered the whole thing to the card before sponging some more mustard ink around the edges. Simple! Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and don't forget to play along this week at My Time Made Easy.

Faith Hope Courage Strength - My Time Made Easy Pretty Patter Sketch #58
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch Challenge. I have been so sick from my migraines that I haven't been able to participate in the weekly challenge. This week, however, I made sure I participated no matter what.
For my card, I combined several sets to get the completed look. First, I took the Harriet Hop Along Basket single image, printed it off onto white card stock and colored with prismacolor markers. Then, I stippled both bashful blue and garden green inks around the edges. Then, I randomly stamped on my scrap layers using images from my Tending The Garden acrylic set before stamping onto the card itself using Tending The Garden and the saying from Bold Botanicals cut up so it would be centered just right before adding a knotted scrap of pink ribbon for my only embellishment.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and stop by the My Time Made Easy blog for this week's challenge.

Time Is Like The Wind - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #56
Happy Thursday and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch challenge.
I almost forgot about the sketch this week thanks to another freaking migraine. So when I sat down to make the card last night, I grabbed some Prima botanicals paper, dies and MTME's Keep Strong digital stamp set. After cutting my card base out completely wrong the first time, I finally got it right and began assembling all of the elements together. My final touches were to sponge some old olive ink around the edges of my saying, card, and a tad over the rose before adding some gold pearl bead stickers.

Let's Grab A Cup - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #54
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern sketch challenge. This week we have a very easy sketch for you.
For my card, I pulled out an older set, Grab A Cup, and stamped it in memento tuxedo black ink onto white card stock before stamping the "cup" in memento rich cocoa ink as the letter U. I then stamped the steam in memento London fog before pulling out a Close To My Heart vanilla marker to color the sugar bowl and a Stampin Up! lavender marker for the accents. The coffee stains were also stamped in memento rich cocoa. Once all of my stamping was done, I pulled out my stipple brush and lightly stippled Adirondack latte ink around the edges of the card before adding a coffee colored ribbon from my stash. A quick, clean and simple card taking only about 15min total even with another migraine. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and stop by all of the MTME Pretty Pattern Sketch team blogs to see the samples. You can find all of the links on the MTME blog here. Hello Flowers
Hi all. I couldn't sleep the other night since I was in so much pain from a migraine, so I decided to take a digital image I've had on my stamp desk and put it to good use as a second card for this week's For Your Inspiration #26 challenge and also for one on Splitcoast. As a reminder, here's the inspiration picture from FYI.
The digital image I used is a freebie from Sliekjestamps and is so cute to color with prismacolor markers, especially when combined with My Time Made Easy's Amour digital paper. Then I stamped my saying using Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company You Light Up Your Life stamp set. Once my coloring was finished, I took some scrap olive card stock and die cut three borders using The Cat's Pajamas icing border die, then punched two sets of faux brads from scrap razzleberry card stock before gluing them on with a Martha Stewart 2-way glue pen. Then, I lightly stippled bashful blue and wild wasabi inks around my main image before popping it up over the die cut border. My final embellishments were ice stickles on the flowers and some Stampin Up! razzleberry satin ribbon.

Congratulations Garden Apron - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #53
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch challenge. This week's sketch had me totally stumped so I decided to just take the inspiration and march "to the beat of a different drummer".
For my card I first downloaded and printed off MTME's Gardener's Apron card template onto Stampin Up! summer sun card stock and cut it out. Then I printed out MTME's Buzzy Blooms digital paper, adhered one layer of the apron to the back of the paper, and cut it out before adhering to the apron card. Finally, I pulled out my Tending The Garden acrylic stamps and stamped the pockets, flowers and saying before cutting out and coloring with some Copic Spica pens I received as a gift. Definitely different from the sketch, but a totally fun card to make. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and join us this week at My Time Made Easy for the challenge.

Warm Argyle Wishes - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #52
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch challenge. I haven't been able to participate recently due to my migraines again, but this week, I made it migraine, flu and all.
Our sketch this week includes making a long card, something we haven't done recently and it's a really easy sketch to use too. I'll definitely be using it again in the future. For my card, I decided to use an older acrylic set called Argyle Amazement paired with the Sweet Treats digital set and the Sweet Sentiments digital sayings.
After downloading my digital stamps and printing off my latte cup with croissant, I also printed off the Minty Chocolate digital paper that matched my Sahara sand card stock. Then pulling out my prismacolor markers, I colored my main image for the outside and saying for the inside, before stamping the Argyle Amazement background above my digital paper. After cutting out my cuppa and croissant, I added some pink gingham ribbon, primas, and bling for the final touches. A clean and simple card that can be done in approximately 10minutes.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and make sure to check out the rest of the design teams samples for this week and leave them some love. While you're at it, why not participate in our challenges over on the My Time Made Easy blog. Each week we are giving away some really cool prizes to one lucky participant. Inspired By The Oscars - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern #50
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch challenge. I haven't been able to participate the last few weeks due to my migraines, however, this week I was able to get one done despite them.
Since the Oscars were on this last Sunday, I decided to go with a movie theme and used MTME's About To Pop digital stamps along with the matching vintage Countdown digital papers. In order to keep with my Oscars theme, I decided to make sure my card resembled the "envelopes" the stars unseal at the Oscars as they make the announcements of who won what.
After cutting my card out using a Coluzzle file folder template, I printed out the popcorn box and popcorn then got to coloring using my prismacolor markers, then lightly stippled Stampin Up! going gray ink around the sides to "age" it a bit. I also stippled the going gray and then basic gray inks around the edges of the card and over the edges of the "film strip" cut outs before popping up my popcorn, adding some ribbon with a hat pin, and then a couple of black primas with a black pearl center. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and make sure to stop by the My Time Made Easy blog to check out the rest of the Design Teams samples and entries for the week. Also, don't forget today, March 1st, My Time Made Easy has it's new designs release as well!! You'll want to check out all of the newest products here.

I'm So Proud Of You - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #46
Happy Groundhog Day!!!!
Hello and welcome to Thursday and another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch challenge. This week I chose to go with some oldies but goodies for my card instead of using our new February release, so watch for those next week.
I started out by downloading the Lunch Box Love Notes digital set, and then using Photoshop Elements© to combine the images & saying. Once that was done and printed out, I stamped the acrylic Petal Perfection set onto the card and borders before adding strips of our Color Infusion digital paper. After that was done, and my main image layered, I just popped it up over the borders using pop dots, added a ribbon scrap knot and my card was finished.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and don't forget to check out the newest products released this week at My Time Made Easy.

Winter Knit Cap - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #45
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch challenge. Sorry about missing last week's challenge, however, my migraines have been awful the last couple of weeks and I couldn't even look at the computer let alone stamp. This week I chose to use one of our recently released sets called Winter Knits paired with the matching digital paper Femmie Flakes & Fuzzies.
After downloading and printing out my image twice onto white card stock, I pulled out my prismacolor markers and got to coloring trying to match the digital paper as much as possible. Once both images were colored, I put one aside to cut out and pop up later and began stippling Stampin Up! sage shadow ink around the first before layering. Once my layering was done, I pulled out my Martha Stewart snowflake punch and punched some scrap sage shadow card stock, added some bling to the snowflake centers and then some faux basic grey brads. The final touch to my card was popping up the second image using pop dots from Michael's.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and join us this week at My Time Made Easy for the challenge.

Underwater Friends - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #43
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch Challenge. This week the team has come up with a simple sketch with a twist for you. The "green line" in the upper left corner can be made into several different things. I've seen the design teams doing all kinds of twists with that layer.
For my card, I chose to use My Time Made Easy's Underwater Wonderment digital set paired with the Under The Cabana digital paper again. After I downloaded the images, I then "overlapped them" using Photoshop and added my own sentiment as well before coloring and lightly stippling Stampin Up! bashful blue ink around the images for a slight watery feel.
Once my layering was done using the star flowers from Under The Cabana, alternating with Stampin Up! sahara sand, I adhered the main image panel to a baja breeze card with a layer of wave designer paper that's been in my stash for years. The only embellishments I used were pearl stickers and then ice stickles to highlight portions of my colored image. I'm pretty pleased with my card considering I made it while still dealing with these blasted migraines and was on pain killers at the time.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and we hope you'll play along with us at My Time Made Easy.

You're A Rare Jewel - My Time Made Easy Pretty PatternReview Sketch #42
Hello and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch Challenge. This week we are doing a review of sketches 27-33, so just pick one and join in the fun!
For my card, I chose to go with sketch #28 and altered it just a tad. I started out by downloading and printing off My Time Made Easy's Under The Cabana digital paper and then downloading the matching digital set Underwater Wonderment and added my own sentiment using Photoshop Elements. After my image was printed off onto white card stock, I pulled out my prismacolor markers and got to coloring before lightly stippling Stampin Up! tempting turquoise around the edges and adding matching brads over the layers.
I then eliminated the smaller oval in favor of dew drops adhered over the digital paper and added some Michael's silk seashell bridal confetti to the side panel. Overall a quick and fairly easy card. The hardest part, was deciding what to do.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and a wonderful rest of the week.
