All Path's Fall

 

 

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share another card made using some of the new sets in the Conjurer of Dreams store.   I'm definitely having fun playing with the new fall image sets.  

 

I started out by combining the following sets in Photoshop© Vibrant Fall, Nature Quotes, Vintage Rustic Trucks clip art, Farmer Quirky Character, Cowgirl Character, Fall Silk, Quirky Chicken and Black Silk before printing the finished combined image on Neenah card stock.  I then printed an additional Vibrant Fall image to use as layering on my card base.  I took the combined digital image and layered that onto scrap card stock before distressing the edges, added brads and popped up using pop up glue dots.  I then added some copper cord to the left hand seam before punching out several leaves and pumpkins from scrap card stock.  I adhered those using Ranger Glossy Accents before adhering a few pieces of bling to finish the card off.

Hello and welcome.   Today I'd like to share an ATC with you made using several Conjurer of Dreams digital sets.  

 

I started out by combining the following image sets in Photoshop© (Fall Quotes, Bountiful Cart, Anne of Green Gables, Cute Dogs Clip Art, Fall Silk, Aged Paper and Photo Corners) before printing my combined image on Neenah white card stock.  I then pulled out a couple of scrap card stock and layered the image panel to those before adding some copper brads and bling to finish it off.  I'm really pleased with how it turned out especially with the way I've been feeling lately.  Ugh!

Hello and welcome.  I'm guest designing this month over at the FarmQuest General Store Challenge where Anything Goes Farm and/or Country. For my card, I went with the country theme and created a card using the Lily Pond Grayscale Coloring Pages from Conjurer of Dreams. 

 

After coloring the image using Castle Arts Watercolor Pencils and a blender pencil, I lightly stippled Tim Holtz mowed lawn distress ink before layering and adding some faux brads and adhering it to a green card.  I then punched two different frogs using scraps before adhering them using Bearly Art glue.   The finishing touches were googlie eyes, stickles, bling and adding some eyes using a 3D glaze pen.  I then added my saying using a long retired Close To My Heart set - inside says "only small things with great love. - Mother Teresa.  I'm really happy with how it turned out.

The Watermill

 

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card made from another one of the images I colored while my husband had been in the hospital using a digital Watermill image from Impression Obsession.  The image is one I've had for a while printed out and just hadn't gotten to yet.  It is colored using Castle Arts Watercolor pencils and once layered, I added some faux brads to it to help keep the postage price down.  The only embellishment used is stardust stickles to highlight the water.

Cowboys And A Red Barn

 

 

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share with you a card I made using a few Conjurer of Dreams images.  I started out by combining the Old Red Barn, Rugged, Barn Owl and Cute Dogs before printing the combined image  on Neenah white card stock, layering and adding some copper brads.  After distressing the edges, I adhered the layered panel to my card using pop up glue dots.  Digging through my stash, I found some twine and added that to the side before adhering some copper bling and a copper clip from my stash.  I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

Welcome To The Funny Farm

 

Hello and welcome.  Second post today.  I made these ATC's over the last couple of weeks due to my migraines and fibromyalgia flare ups.  The images are from the Funny Farm set from Conjurer of Dreams.  I printed this set out a while ago, and it just sat in the "to be made pile" until a couple of weeks ago.  I really love the sayings Kim made for these and hope she brings the set back.  With the exception of the images printed on Neenah white card stock, everything else is used from my scrap bin.  Here are close-ups of each ATC:

Barnyard Friends

 

 

Hello and welcome. Today I'd like to share with your a fun image I colored over the last month or so - little by little while dealing with this migraine, and fibromyalgia, flare.  The image is a digital from Impression Obsession which is unfortunately closed now. To color my farmyard scene, I pulled out my Lyra and Castle Arts pencils and got to work adding layer/shades until I was happy with it.  Once the coloring was finished, I layered it and added some vintage brads. As an afterthought, I also went and distressed the bottom layer using my paper distresser.  For my card base, I dry embossed a green panel using my Cuttlebug Branches embossing folder and big shot.  After adding my layered image panel using glue dots, I tied part of a jute ribbon around one side of the card.  I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Spring On The Farm

 

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share with you a couple of projects made over the last couple of weeks but haven't uploaded them due to a migraine that won't quit.  The weather we've had recently has been a little crazy - winter temps suddenly turning into spring temps; then dropping 20 degrees overnight with thunderstorms; now back to spring. Sigh.  Mother Nature please make up your mind.  

First up, I have a fabulous country farm card made using images from Conjurer of Dreams plus a couple from my digital stash.  I started out by combining the following COD sets ( Anne of Green Gables, Old Purple Truck, Old Red Barn) in Photoshop before adding the horse, trees, birds from my stash.  Once I had printed out the finished image, I layered it and added some faux brads before adhering it to a rust colored card.  After adding some copper cord from my stash, my card was finished.

Next up, is an adorable spring ATC  made using Conjurer of Dreams Ladybug Love, Fairy Sprite and Quirky Faries digital sets.  These were also combined in Photoshop before printing onto Neenah white card stock, then layering onto scraps and adding faux brads.  Digging through my smaller scraps, I punched some greenery and flowers using my Martha Stewart punches and adhered those using Glossy Accents before adding some red stickles to the flower centers, small red bow and finally a wooden ladybug sticker I've had for years.

A Quiet River

 

 

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share with you my take using the Conjurer of Dreams free greyscale coloring progressive challenge image. This is image number 4 of this month's progressive challenge. I colored it using Castle Arts watercolor pencils on a dry embossed card using my Big Shot and dusty Cuttlebug Tree Branch embossing folder. Star dust ice stickles highlight the water. Fall Inspired Window Train

 

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share with you a fall inspired card using images from Conjurer of Dreams. I started out by printing the Steam Train in the Seasons and Fall Window Scene onto Neenah white card stock. I then took a Fiskars© finger "knife" and carefully fussy cut the window panes out before adhering it over my train image, then layered and added some maple leaf brads I've had in my stash for years and not used.  Setting that aside, I dug though my old Stampin Up stamps and found the Petite Patterns set and stamped the border using the leaf images and adhered that to a riding hood red card.  I then stamped some migrating ducks in memento tuxedo black ink in the top left window pane using my Stampscapes© Ducks In Formation stamp.  After adding my layered image using pop up glue dots, my card was finished.

Steampunk Fall

 

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card made using this month's freebie over on the Conjurer of Dreams blog and the new Rustic Fall digital set.  Now as one who is SO DONE with summer and it's hot temps, wildfires and hot down-sloping winds, I cannot wait for cooler temps and the changing of the seasons. 

I started out by combining the digital elements in Photoshop before printing my finished image on Neenah white card stock before layering and adding copper brads then setting aside.  I then printed another image out at 5x7 size before adhering it to a white Neenah card base.  Taking some burlap ribbon I found at Dollar Tree©, I added a strip to my card base using Ranger Glossy Accents.  When that was dry, I added my layered image panel using pop dots before a few dusty Marvy and Martha Stewart punches to create a floral spray using leaves to fit the fall theme.  I then took my punched elements/snippets and rubbed then lightly over a Tim Holtz walnut stain distress ink pad using tweezers.  The final touch was adding a little copper ice stickles to the flower centers.  I'm really happy with how this turned out.

Perfect Crazy Horses

I've been somewhat quiet lately.  I'm still dealing with this blasted migraine that will not go away but I've tried crafting a bit to focus on something else but the pain.  That's the main reason I've been using so many pre-colored images lately.  I felt I needed something fun so I pulled out this Crazy Horses image from Sheepski Designs that I've had printed for some time but hadn't used yet.  I started out by coloring the horses using my Castle Arts watercolor pencils until I was happy with the coverage.  Taking one of my blending brushes, I added some Tim Holtz stormy sky distress ink around the horses before layering and adding brads.  For the card base, I printed off the distressed graph page from Gecko Galz Time After Time digital designer paper then added it to white card stock before stippling Tim Holtz faded jeans and tea dye distress inks over the designer paper.  I then adhered my colored image panel to the card before stamping my saying from an old Hero Arts Good Friends stamp set directly on the card.  After adding some googlie eyes, my card was finished,

Sunflowers and Winds

Hello and welcome.  It's been a few days since I've posted.  I've been dealing with this nasty migraine again and also the loss of one of my foster kittens from leukemia - little Jerry.   Although I'm missing him very much, I know he is no longer in pain, or suffering.  He hid his illness quite well until it was too late.  Since they say coloring is good therapy, and I agree, I decided to do a little coloring and creating. 

 

 

I had started coloring this image panel a few weeks ago for the monthly Woodblock Wednesday challenge and didn't finish the card until this morning using a long retired, and dusty, Stampin Up set called Winds of Grace.   The images and saying are stamped in memento tuxedo black ink and colored using my koh-i-noor pencils before blending using a blender pencil.  Once the coloring was finished, I stenciled the cloud background using a retired Picket Fence Studios slimline cloud stencil before layering and adding brads.  For the final touches, I added a bit of twine and waterfall ice stickles to highlight the ocean.

Next up are a couple of cards made using some pre-colored images from Gecko Galz.  Let me say this, I LOVE sunflowers and the Sunflowers For Ukraine collage has several gorgeous images included.  Every summer white I live, there are so many wild sunflowers growing everywhere.  After I had trimmed and layered the images I wanted to use, I added them to their respective card bases before stamping the sayings I wanted to use underneath the layered images.  I then punched some small circles to create my own matching "faux brads".  The final touches was adding a few coffee bean sequins adhering them using Bearly Art glue.

Isaiah 60:20

Hello and welcome.  Second post from me today.  If you're looking for my ATC post, please scroll down one. I needed a couple more sympathy cards, this time for the guys, so I pulled out my set from Our Daily Bread Designs, now Divinity Designs called With Deepest Sympathy and got to work.  Not sure how long I've had this set but it's been awhile.

I started out by stamping the main image, and the verse from Isaiah, in memento tuxedo black ink onto Copic X-press It white card stock before coloring using both prismacolor and copic markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I stippled/blended some Tim Holtz mowed lawn and tumbled glass around the colored image to fill in the grass and sky before layering and adding brads.  The final touch was adding just a hint of waterfall ice stickles to highlight the water.

Tire Swing

 

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card I made using one of the Impression Obsession digital stamps called Tire Swing from the Gary Robertson line of digital stamps.  I've had this image printed for awhile but just hadn't used it yet and I have no idea why it's taken me so long.

I started out by coloring it using both prismacolor and copic markers and a Recollections white chalk marker before layering and adding brushed gold brads.  Taking my card base, I dry embossed it using a Cuttlebug© snowflake embossing folder and my Big Shot©.  Using my paper pouncers, I stippled Tim Holtz picket fence and chipped sapphire over the dry embossed images.  I then took my layered image, distressed the edges using a fingernail and then added it to the card using pop up glue dots.  For the image snowflakes, I used a Sakura white gel pen before adding white enamel dots and diamond ice stickles to the embossed snowflake centers.
