Welcome Spring

Hello and welcome. Today I'd like to share with you some ATC's I made for the Conjurer of Dreams April ATC challenge.  The challenge ends on the 29th so there's still time for you to enter.

I started out by separating, the free ATC sheet,  then combining the images with the Anne of Green Gables set.  Once I had everything combined, I printed out the ATC's before layering on scrap card stock.  For the embellishments, I die cut a lot of tulip stems and flower stems (now retired) before die cutting a bunch of flower buds.  I then finished assembling my ATC's by adhering the stems, and flowers, using glossy accents.  The final touch was highlighting the flower centers and parts of the background.  I'm really happy with how these turned out especially since I've been dealing with bad migraine and fibromyalgia issues again.

A Little Bit Of Grumpy Valentine Love And A Castle

Hello and welcome. Today I have a couple of projects to share with you using the free ATC sheet from Conjurer of Dreams along with the following COD sets: Valentine Book Covers, Red SilkGrumpy Seniors Valentine Kit and Victorian Valentines (retired).  I've had them finished over a week now, but have been dealing with a nasty migraine.

I started out by breaking apart the ATC sheet using Photoshop©, along with my digital layers, before printing them out and adhering to scrap card stock.  Once all of my layering was was finished, I die several small flowers, and stems, from scrap card stock before "shaping" them using my hands and adhering using glossy accents.  The final touches were some red bling and flat backed pearls.  I'm pretty pleased with how these turned out.

Winter Fun

Hello and welcome.  I've been laying low the last several days due health and migraines, so today I'd like to share with you some ATC's (artist trading cards) I've made over the last week for this month's Conjurer of Dreams ATC Challenge.

I started out by breaking apart the challenge's free ATC sheet, in Photoshop©, before combining the elements with the following Conjurer of Dreams image sets: Skating Pond and Clip ArtWinter Christmas Photo CornersBlue SilkMetallic Silk, Snowflake Background.  Once everything was combined, I printed them out, layered and added my embellishments: snowflake sequins I've had for years, snowflake clay pieces, die cuts and some bling.  I'm pretty happy with how these turned out considering the pain level the last few days.

More Holiday Inspiration

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share with you a couple of projects that I finally finished thanks to the flu.

First up, is a set of ATC's made using the free challenge sheet for the December Conjurer of Dreams ATC challenge.  I did all of the image layering digitally before printing then adding my card stock layers using scraps.  Each ATC was then embellished using stickles, bling, photo corners from my stash and bows.

Next up is a snarky card made using the Christmas Mugshots and Wanted Poster Blanks from Conjurer of Dreams.  After combining the two sets digitally, I printed it out, added walnut stain distress ink along the edges before layering and adding brads.  I then printed out the Wood Bark Background, and adhered it to my card base before sponging walnut stain distress ink along the edges.  Once my layered image was adhered to the card base, I added some copper sequins and a epoxy candy cane sticker to finish it off.

A Frightfully Good Halloween

Hello and welcome.  Second post today so if you're looking for my puppies birthday card, please scroll down one.  Thank you.

I'd like to share with you a Halloween card, plus ATC, made using images from Conjurer of Dreams images. I liked how the card turned out so I made an ATC to go with it.  I originally started out by combining the following COD sets using Photoshop©: Victorian GraveyardVictorian Dancing GhostsEdwardian Bride & Groom GhostsFunny GravestonesYou're Driving Me Batty clip artAged Papers and Halloween Photo Corners, plus my saying before printing onto Neenah white card stock.  Once I had everything printed out, I layered onto some navy/black card stock before distressing the edges, adding brads and setting aside.  I then stenciled a spiderweb background on my card base using Tim Holtz picket fence distress ink before adding my graveyard panel using some pop up glue dots.  The only embellishments added was some spider sequins for the corners, crinkle ribbon I found in my stash and tiny gemstones for stars.

For the accompanying ATC, I printed the same image (only smaller) then layered using the scraps from my card. Made a small bow using the scraps from my card, added the spider sequins and gems like before to finish it off.  I'm pretty happy with how these turned out.

Retro Beach

Hello and welcome.  It's been a week already and it's only half over.  So I finally finished these ATC's using Conjurer of Dreams Retro Beach ATC challenge.

I started out by combining all of my digital elements in Photoshop© before printing them out and layering.  I then took several punches/dies and punched out/die cut crabs, starfish, coral and seagulls.  I then added them to the ATC's before highlighting the water using star dust stickles.

Ooh La La

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a fun ATC made using Conjurer of Dreams set called Ooh La La. I LOVE this set of 4 corsets - sexy enough to be risque but still "clean" enough to keep it PG13. LOL  After combining the corset digitally with the following COD sets: Pink SilkBlack SilkBlue Silk and the black Photo Corners; I printed it out onto Neenah white card stock before adhering to a black scrap.  I then pulled out some autumn and thunderstorm gems, added those to the ATC and finished it off.

I'm happy with how it turned out especially since my husband wasn't doing too good the other day.  It's been one step forward and three steps back for him lately.  Plus my ever present migraines adding to the mix with the summertime heat.  Ugh!

Welcome To The Funny Farm

Hello and welcome.  Second post today.  I made these ATC's over the last couple of weeks due to my migraines and fibromyalgia flare ups.  The images are from the Funny Farm set from Conjurer of Dreams.  I printed this set out a while ago, and it just sat in the "to be made pile" until a couple of weeks ago.  I really love the sayings Kim made for these and hope she brings the set back.  With the exception of the images printed on Neenah white card stock, everything else is used from my scrap bin.  Here are close-ups of each ATC:

Also used a retired Stampin Up mini set for the dotted background, pearls, clip I had forgotten about

Also used scrap of Graphic 45 paper, bling, brads, clip I had forgotten about

Also used retired Stampin Up mini for dotted background, brown pearls, brown Prima flower I had forgotten about

Also used yellow mini brads, red Prima mini flowers I forgot I had

Using Up Some Scraps

Hello and welcome.   If you're looking for my Pammie's Inky Pinkies post, please scroll down one.

I had some scraps from another project still laying on my desk so I thought I'd finally get them out of the way and create something with them.  The Steampunk CowgirlOld West Ghost TownOld West Dancing Ghost Couples are all from Conjurer of Dreams.  After I layered everything, I made sure to use my paper distresser along the edges to "roughen up" the layers.  Added a small scrap of copper cord, brads and an old copper clip I've had for years.  The final touch was a bit of yellow stickles to highlight the few light lamps.  I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

Halloween Tea Party And Haunts

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a not so spooky Halloween ATC made using the Well Read Haunts ATC backgrounds along with a few other sets from Conjurer of Dreams.

I started out by digitally layering the following Conjurer of Dreams sets:  Well Read Haunts, Alice in Wonderland Background/Clipart, Bokeh and Floral TeacupsFloral Borders and Corners clip artVictorian Maid clip art and Cute Dogs before printing and adding to the Black Silk and Aged Paper backgrounds. I liked how it turned out so I kept it clean/simple and didn't add any additional embellishments.

Be A Mermaid

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share with you an ATC I made using the mermaid freebie over on the Conjurer of Dreams blog for the May free image challenge.  I did all of my layering digitally, little by little, so when I printed it out, I was able to add to card stock for the layer.  The COD sets, besides the freebie, I used are: Coral Clip Art, Mermaid Scales, Ocean Creatures Clip Art, Blue Silk, and Black Silk.  I'm really pretty happy with this since I created it while still dealing with this migraine.

Just Some Winter ATC's

Hello and welcome.  Really quick post today as I'm in a lot of pain and not focusing good right now.   I have a couple of ATC's made using this month's free sheet from Gecko Galz.  After trimming down to size, and layering, I added some small, icy floral sprays as embellishments before adding star dust ice stickles as the only embellishments.  Close up's below:

A Little Steampunk ATC

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a quick ATC made using one of the freebies on the Conjurer of Dreams blog combined with the Rustic Fall digital set.

After combining the images in Photoshop©, I printed out my finished image on Neenah white card stock before layering on scrap card stock.  Taking my old Marvy and Martha Stewart punches, and the small card stock scraps still on my desk, I punched out some leaves/flowers before dipping in walnut stain ink then adding them to my ATC.  The finishing touches were bling in two of the corners and copper ice stickles in the flower centers.

Mermaid Swing

Hello and welcome.  I've been dealing with a bad migraine the last several days (thank you Mother Nature-NOT), so I'm sharing an ATC (altered trading card) made using an old blog freebie from Gecko Galz paired with a retired Anchors Away ATC background also from Gecko Galz.  I'm finding the pre-colored images from Gecko Galz really help me create during the bad migraine days.

Once everything was printed, and trimmed to size, I layered my mermaid onto scrap card stock before adhering to the background I had trimmed.  Instead of using brads, I punched two crabs and 2 fish from card stock scraps before adhering them to the ATC corners instead of using brads.  After gluing some sequins, and adding eyes to my "brads", I color spritz some basic grey marker to finish it off.  It's not my best work but.....oh well.

Bohemian ATC's

Hello and welcome.   Today I'd like to share with you some ATC's I made using the Boheimian Gypsy ATC collage sheet from Gecko Galz which is a freebie this month that you can download from their monthly ATC challenge blog.

I started out by cutting all of the collage elements out then matched backgrounds to scrap card stock.  Once I had all three layered plus "faux brads", I pulled out my MS punches and punched ferns/flowers before running the ferns through my paper crimper.  Once I had the "bedding" for my floral sprays created, I added the yellow/burgundy flowers before pulling out some red prima's that hadn't been opened yet.  Some red bling, gold/black ice stickles and my ATC's were finished.  To the yellow'd flower ATC, I also added some faux sewing before lightly stippling tumbled glass distress ink leftover from another project.  I'm really happy with how they turned out especially since I'm still trying to focus on something besides the migraine that's not going away.  Close up's and challenges entered below:
