PIP 2134

 Challenge 2134 - Team A, Aug.23

Hello and welcome to another Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  This week we are being sponsored by  Sheepski Designs.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship and for providing the design team images to showcase.  I'm using the new to me, but retired, Hanging Around image.

After printing the new to me image off onto Neenah white card stock, I colored it using Castle Art Pencils before stippling Tim Holtz stormy sky around it then layered.  My card is dry embossed using a birds/swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder with my big shot before stippling walnut stain around the edges of the card.  After adding some brads to the layered image and copper cord, I then added it to my card with some paper sunflowers finishing everything off.

Well Behaved Women

Hello and welcome.  Today I'm guest designing over at the Pixie's Crafty Workshop #410 and I've used a whole bunch of snippets for my card.  In fact, just about everything is from a snippet except the card base. First, I would like to thank Diane for letting me guest host this fortnight.

I started out by trimming a Neenah white scrap panel before stamping the background pyramids from Clearly Besotted's Egyptian Feline (NBUS) and coloring using Castle Art Pencils before stamping the pyramids again onto scrap caramel card stock, then cutting them out and adhering over the colored pyramids using glue dots.  I then stamped the saying above before stamping the remaining images onto scrap white card stock, again coloring with pencils, before cutting them all out and adhering using glue dots.  I then die cut the sun, blended some yo-yo yellow ink on the edges before popping that up using dimensionals.  Taking scraps of green card stock, I punched out the "hanging fern" and flowers adhering all of those using Ranger glossy accents.  The final touches were adding some extra flowers in the vases, ice stickle highlights, and white gel pen to accent my cats eyes.

Swimming Through The Kelp Forest Among Others

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share some cards made for the Dare To Get Dirty challenges over at Splitcoaststampers.com.  If you're not a Fan Club member of Splitcoast, you can find more information here. The challenges are open until August 20th at 11:59pm CST.  Sorry I haven't blogged them before now.  I'm dealing with a nasty migraine again.

My little mermaid's inspiration was taken from Monterey Bay's kelp forests and ferns/flowers that were punched from lots and lots of scraps then added using Ranger glossy accents.

My Halloween card below was inspired by the ghost stamp set and the saying both from Picket Fence Studios.

My floral spray is made using die cut flowers and leaves along with some punched fern greenery that's been run through a paper crimper.

Made my cowboy card thinking of little boy birthday cards which I need desperately.  Images from Stampin Up!

My dog bone card is made from an old template I purchased from My Favorite Things over a decade ago.  Saying from Picket Fence Studios. Dog image from a long retired Stampin Up set Ruff Day.

These are just a few other the cards I've made.  Thank goodness the design team had a month of planning to allow me time to make these.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.

Just Be Silly

Hello and welcome.  Sometimes in life you just want, and need, to stick your tongue out at life and move on.  I have been feeling like this a lot lately, especially with the nasty migraine I've had for the last month.  I have been making myself create to try and focus on something else besides the pain so I will apologize early if my creating seems a bit off.  This image is from SimplyBStamps and is colored using prismacolor and copic markers with tumbled glass distress ink stippled around the edges.  The rest of the card is made using scrap card stock.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.

Hello and welcome.  Today we have a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we are being sponsored by  Lee Holland Stamps.  I would like to take a moment and thank them for the images the design team has used this week.

Once I printed off my (NBUS) image onto Neenah white card stock, I colored is using Castle Art Pencils before stippling Tim Holtz broken china distress ink around it.  After layering the colored image, I added some brads before adhering the panel to my card.  The only other embellishments added were diamond ice stickles and a small lavender bow.  The final touch was stamping my saying from a long retired Stampin Up set.
