Once I had stamped my images from Spring Flowers and Pansy Riot in memento tuxedo black ink onto MFP snow storm smooth card stock, I pulled out my prismacolor markers and got to coloring before cutting out some of the extra pansy images to pop up later for some added dimension. Once all of my layering was finished, I stamped my saying onto scrap snow storm smooth card stock, layered, and added the same orange brads to match my pansy panel.
I decided to keep the inside saying of the card fairly generic so I could use it for any type of a celebration as needed.
Welcome to the final day of our hop. Today we are featuring the new set called Flamingos On Vacation and I decided to try something that was brewing in my mind for it. I pulled out a Stampendous shirt card from my stash I've had for over 8 years and stamped the larger flamingos in memento tuxedo black before coloring them with prismacolor markers. Then I added the palm trees in memento black, colored and added the ribbon in Adirondack sailboat blue ink across the top and along the front "opening" of the shirt. My final touches on the outside were to stipple Adirondack lettuce ink around the edges of my shirt and the collar; then small white prima flowers with gold ice stickle centers. Once I was done adding the ice stickles to the prima centers, I suddenly decided to add them also to the flamingo's body designs.
The inside of my shirt has both of my sayings and two more palm trees to tie everything in.
I started out by stamping my images from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company Gullible Mini , Scenic Selections and Lighthouses stamp sets in memento tuxedo black onto snow storm smooth card stock before coloring with koh-i-noor pencils, prismacolor markers, and a blender marker. Once my coloring was finished, and the images from Scenic Selections cut out for popping up later, I started stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass and forest moss distress inks around the edges. Then I stippled Adirondack caramel ink for the sand and aqua ink over a cloud template to help fill in the sky before layering.
I started out by stamping my images from Mother's Magnolias in memento tuxedo black onto Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company snow storm smooth and then again onto Cosmo Cricket Clementine designer papers before cutting them out to adhere to my stamped card. After I added my cut out images, I stippled Tim Holtz tumbled glass around the flowers before layering and then adding some red brads from my stash. Then I added a couple of die cut scalloped borders before popping up my layered images and added some ripened tomato satin ribbon with a gold clip.
I started out by stamping my main magnolia image from Mother's Magnolias by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company in memento tuxedo black onto snow storm smooth card stock and then again onto plain photocopy paper to cut out and use as a mask for my cascading images. Once my mask was cut out, I added some removable tape to the back, and then stamped the remaining two images before coloring with prismacolor markers.
I started out by stamping my main image from Pussy Willows in memento tuxedo black onto Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company snow storm smooth and colored with prismacolor markers before stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass before layering and adding some orange brads from my stash. I then stamped my pussy willow background on the card using Tim Holtz spiced marmalade before adding some ribbon gifted to me by my friend KelliJo and then popping up the layered image over it. My final embellishments are a small gold clip, some primas and gold pearl stickers before stamping my saying.
Today I have a sneak peek of two sets due to be released by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company on May 15th called Oopsy Daisy and Scenic Selections. This card was inspired by several challenges including the Moxie Fab Card Creations Gingham challenge.
Once all of my layering was finished, I pulled out some of my favorite embellishments to use, brads! Gotta have some sort of brads on a card .... faux or real...they have to be there before popping up the layered image over a sponged die cut ric rack border. Once my saying was stamped, stippled and more brads added, I popped up the layered flamingos over the sponged border before adding the popped up palm branches. Here's a close up of the layered images. 
I've always loved trains and when the new Train Talk set came out I literally jumped for joy. After stamping the silhouette image in memento tuxedo black ink onto white storm before stippling several inks over and around the image to resemble a sunrise. Once I was satisfied with the ink coverage and my image was layered, I added some Making Memories black baby brads before stamping a border using the train tracks from the On Track mini set. My final embellishment was to die cut a couple of gears using Tim Holtz Bigz Gadget Gears die.
Daffodils are my favorite flower, especially since the flower is part of the American Cancer Society's annual Daffodil Days fundraiser so when Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company decided to release the new Daffodil Greetings stamp set, I jumped all over this set!! 
I am totally in love with this set and just had to use some "bone" designer paper I found in my stash from Cloud 9. After stamping my image twice in memento tuxedo black ink on Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company white storm premium paper before coloring with prismacolor markers and cutting one of the images out to pop up later. Once my coloring & cutting were done, I lightly stippled Adirondack latte ink and Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink around the edges of the layered image before adding some paw and bone brads I had found at Michael's and then popping up the entire panel over some MFP chocolate paw ribbon before adding a brass bone charm with some thread.
I started out by stamping my images from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company Love Remains and Relax A Bit in memento tuxedo black ink onto corn husk premium paper before coloring with prismacolor markers. Once my coloring was done, I cut out my background sketch design and then die cut my focal image using a sizzix circle scallop lace die.
I started out by stamping my images in memento tuxedo black onto MFP's white storm premium paper and coloring with prismacolor markers. Once my coloring was done, I lightly stippled Adirondack caramel and bashful blue inks around the edges of the layers before layering and adding some Making Memories baby brads. 
So I pulled out my Blessings set and stamped the lilies in memento tuxedo black ink onto MFP white storm card stock and colored with prismacolor markers before lightly stippling Stampin Up! bashful blue ink around the edges and layering. Then, I stamped one of the butterflies from Hello Butterflies in Tim Holtz tattered rose distress ink onto strawberry milkshake premium paper before stippling and layering onto a stamped spring leaf card (using the butterfly from MFP's birthday mini).
With Easter fast approaching, our challenge this week is to make an Easter card. I started out by pulling out Blessings and stamping my lily images in memento tuxedo black ink onto Mark's Finest Papers snow storm smooth premium paper and coloring with prismacolor markers before cutting out the lilies. Once my cutting was done, I then stamped the lilies onto my strawberry milk premium paper card in Tim Holtz tattered rose distress ink as a border around an embossed deep olive panel.
I decided to make a scrapbook page for my project this month after reading the saying that came with this stamp set. This saying is my mom in a nutshell and is the best way I can think of to say thanks. I printed out a black and white picture of her when she was around 10 years old which is one of my favorites of her and paired it with one of the last ones taken of the two of us together. The color photo was taken approximately 8 months before she died, right after announcing my engagement. I have a hard time looking at my wedding photos of her because she passed away soon afterwards and she looked so sick at the wedding. Here she looks healthy even though the cancer had spread everywhere throughout her body.
