Heart's Quest Shaped Cards and Tags #19

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge at Heart's Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags where our challenge theme is Anything Goes Shaped cards (no square, A2) or tags.  My card today a very dusty Sizzix Bigz bear die I've had for years and only used once.

I started out by die cutting the bear four times using different color card stock (espresso, caramel, blush, white) before gluing them together and stamping the welcome saying in memento tuxedo black across the middle. I then sponged some time holtz walnut stain distress ink using a blender brush before blending some blushing bride ink lightly over the pink parts.  After adding some eyes via a black Copic© marker, and white gel pen, the small added bow finished my card off.  I'm pretty happy with how this turned out especially since I've been dealing with so many health issues again.

Heart's Quest Shaped Cards and Tags #18

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge at Heart's Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags where our challenge theme is Anything Goes Shaped cards (no square, A2).  For my card this month, I went with a tag shaped card using a pre-made card pack I've had for years and never used.

I started out by embossing my card using a Cuttlebug© dots embossing folder and my Big Shot© before blending tumbled glass distress ink over the raised images.  I then printed out a Birds On A Branch image from Conjurer of Dreams.  After printing my image, I layered it onto scrap card stock before blending tumbled glass distress ink around the layered image before adding some faux brads.  I then die cut several different leaves/stems/flowers from scrap card stock to create my own floral spray before stamping my saying in the bottom right corner.  The final touches was some fibers I've had for years, bling and stardust stickles highlighting the centers of the embossed images and flowers.
