PIP Challenge 2617

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're sponsored by Creative Worship Stamps.  I would like to thank Korin for sponsoring our challenge this week. I am using Winter Hugs for my card this week.

I started out by stamping my images in memento tuxedo black ink onto a white Hammermill card panel then coloring using my Ohuhu markers. I then fussy cut out a penguin and polar bear then popped them up on my card using pop dots.  I then added some crystal bling I found at Dollar Tree© before highlighting some of the panel using stickles.  My card base is stamped using Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink.  Of course, I just HAD to stamp a matching envelope. ;)

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're sponsored by Rachelle Anne Miller Digital designs.  I would like to thank Rachelle for her sponsorship this week.

I started out by printing the image onto Hammermill card stock then coloring using my Ohuhu markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I lightly stippled some Tim Holtz stormy sky to lighten up the sky before layering.  I then added the layered image panel to a card with Snowflake designer paper.  I then dusted off my old Stampin Up Wishes Awash and stamped my saying directly onto the background paper. For the final touches, I added some clay snowflakes.

Catch A Wave

Hello and welcome.   Today I'd like to share a card I made using the Catch A Wave stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs paired with a digital background from Conjurer of Dreams.

I started out by stamping all of my images, and saying, in memento tuxedo black ink on to scrap white card stock before coloring using my Ohuhu markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I fussy cut my colored images out before adhering it to a card with an Island Hut background.  For the saying, I deliberately made sure to fussy cut it at an angle to look like a banner.  I then die cut the sun and seagulls from scrap card stock before stippling Tim Holtz wild honey distress ink over the sun.  Once my scene was assembled, I added a few sequins and stickles glitter glue before highlighting parts of the colored images using 3D glaze pens.

PIP Challenge 2614

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're sponsored by Pattie's Creations.  I would like to thank Pattie for sponsoring this week's challenge.  My card this week uses Pattie's Star Shaped Coastal Wreath colored using my Ohuhu markers. Once my coloring was finished, I layered it before adhering to a green card base.  For embellishments, I added some holly bling, red/green gems and a small bow from my stash.  As a final touch, I highlighted the berries/lighthouse/orange/seashell using a clear 3D glaze pen.  The final touch was stamping the Merry Christmas greeting underneath.  I'm very happy with how this turned out.
