Bedtime Noel

Happy Friday!  We've made it through the week!  Today I'm sharing another card featuring MFT's popular Pure Innocence line using the Naptime image.  I had wanted to use some K & Company designer paper scraps I had found in my stash, so I turned this particular image into a holiday one.

After stamping my image twice on MFT's white Perfect Panels and coloring with prismacolor markers, I cut one of the images out to pop up later.  Pulling out some Queen & Company felt sticker ribbon and adding it to the main card, I then cut some of the smaller snowflakes off of the ribbon to help fill in some empty spaces.  Once my main image was layered, I then added the popped up one and MFT baby braddies to the layers.

Holiday Bedtime Story

Hello and happy Monday - I think. *wink*  I'm still playing around with some pre-colored images and finally assembling cards out of them.  Today, I'm sharing an image from one of MFT's most recent releases from the Pure Innocence line called Bedtime Story (which MFT seems to be out of right now). 

I started out by stamping the image in memento tuxedo black ink onto MFT white Perfect Panels and then colored with prismacolor markers using some Debbie Mumm designer paper as my color inspiration.  Once both images were colored, I cut out one and added some pewter baby brads to the knobs on the nightstand before adding to the layered image panel.  I then added some holiday fibers to the top and two MFT Die-Namic flowers to the bottom right hand corner with pop up glue dots.

Happy Chanukah!

I made this card for a friend for the Jewish Hanukah season (a little late though).  :(   I decided to use the Papertrey Ink set called Mazel Tov. 

To keep with Jewish tradition for Hanukah/Chanukah, I made the card in blue and silver and kept the inside simple.  The Menorah is stamped twice on MFT white Perfect Panels and the background dreidel is stamped using PTI's enchanted evening ink.  Once I had the candles dry, I cut out the Menorahs, popped one up before popping up the entire Menorah panel, then added some MFT Winter Solstice ribbon.
