PIP Challenge 2624

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're sponsored by Gerda Steiner Designs.  I would like to thank Gerda for sponsoring this week's challenge.  My card this week uses Gerda's Pool Piggies stamps and matching dies.  Before I begin, how is it June already and triple digit heat?  I am not a fan of the heat and would like my money back please.

I started out by stamping all the images in memento tuxedo black ink before coloring them using my Ohuhu markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I die cut the images, and a sun, before adhering them to a card with water designer paper I've had for years and not used up.  I then stippled some Tim Holtz wild honey distress ink using a blender brush.  The final touches were sequins, highlighting the saying using a black 3D glaze pen and adding stickles to the designer paper for the "waves".  I'm really happy with how this turned out since I've been having a lot of health issues lately.

PIP Challenge 2611

Sponsored by

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Polkadoodles.  My card this week uses their cute little Hello Spring digital set.  Once I had it printed onto Neenah white card stock, I colored it using my Ohuhu markers before layering and adhering to my card base.  I then lightly blended some stormy sky distress ink before adding some faux sewing stitches.  I then added some punched black/yellow flowers with bling centers to finish it off.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Lawn Fawn.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship for this week's challenge. My card this week was made using one of my favorite Lawn Fawn sets Car Critters and Car Critters Christmas Add On.  My husband also loves these little guys so that's a plus.

I started out by stamping all of my images in memento tuxedo black ink before coloring them using my Ohuhu markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I fussy cut out the additional images I had stamped, layered my image panel before adding some faux brads and popped up images.  After I dry embossed my card base, I added a couple of Jolee's snowflake stickers I had in my stash before adding star dust stickles to finish it off.

Hello Autumn, Just No Pecking

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a couple of cards I've had colored for a few days just hadn't gotten to assembling them yet due to pain and migraines.

First up is card made using some old designer paper along with a Pattie's Creations digital image called Autumn Gnomes I had won last month.  If you don't already know me well, I LOVE GNOMES!!!!  Just about anything gnomes.  I have gnomes that I decorate the house with for each "season" and gnomes outside in my garden.  I've also got several gnome stamp sets (wood/clear/and digital) that I use.  I started out by printing these little guys on to Hammermill white card stock before coloring using my Ohuhu markers.   Once the coloring was finished, I lightly blended leftover Tim Holtz stormy sky and mowed lawn distress inks around the colored image before layering and adding some faux brads.  I then adhered my gnome panel to a ruby red card with scrap designer paper I had acquired last year.  After adding a couple of #dollartree wood elements, bling and faux stitches, my card was finished.  I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

Next up is a sarcastic coffee card made using one of Unity Stamps new sets called Don't Cluck With My Coffee along with a retired Picket Fence Studios Down To The Last Drop 3x3 background stamp.   Normally, I'm a tea drinker (hot or iced) but have had Starbucks latte's from time to time.  Besides this chicken spoke to me so she came home. (that's my story and I'm sticking to it - LOL)  After stamping her on to Copic white card stock, I colored it using my Ohuhu markers before layering and adding some faux brads.  Taking my card base, I stamped it using my Picket Fence Studios background in orchid opulence ink before adding my layered image.  The final touches were some small white sequins and highlights using a couple of 3D glaze/souffle pens.

Catching Up

Hello and welcome.  I have a couple of projects today that have been finished, just waiting to be photographed, on my desk for a couple of weeks using images from Conjurer of Dreams.

First up is an ATC using the Autumn Squirrel set.  I combined it with the Fall and Black Silks, plus adding the saying, in Photoshop© before printing on Neenah white card stock.  I then layered the main image panel onto red/brown scraps before punching several leaves/pumpkin/flower from scraps to add.  After adding some brads and bling, my ATC was finished.

Next up is a card made using last month's Conjurer of Dreams tag challenge image that I didn't get finished until this week.  I layered the finished tag onto the Fall Leaves and Black Silk backgrounds before adding some flower sequins to the corners.  I then added some silk leaves I've had for years behind the tag and adhered the whole thing to a card with the Fall Leaves background.  The final touches was adding some leaf sequins, bling and punched leaves from scraps of card stock.

Harvest Wishes

Hello and welcome.   Today I'd like to share an ATC with you made using several Conjurer of Dreams digital sets.

I started out by combining the following image sets in Photoshop© (Fall Quotes, Bountiful Cart, Anne of Green Gables, Cute Dogs Clip Art, Fall Silk, Aged Paper and Photo Corners) before printing my combined image on Neenah white card stock.  I then pulled out a couple of scrap card stock and layered the image panel to those before adding some copper brads and bling to finish it off.  I'm really pleased with how it turned out especially with the way I've been feeling lately.  Ugh!
