Country Kitchen - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #39

Welcome to Thursday and another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch challenge.  This week's challenge is all about focusing on the center.

For my card, I chose to showcase My Time Made Easy's digital set What's Cookin' and the Farmhouse Fresh digital paper.  With Christmas coming in just a few short weeks, I'm thinking about all of the wonderful Christmas dinners that will be shared across the country with friends and family.  Once I had downloaded my images, I colored only a few select dishes, pot holders and eggs to showcase on the front.  For the inside, is all of the spoons, spatulas, and whisks along with the newly released digital Warm Sentiments sets.

I kept the rest of the card simple by adding only three pre-made bows to the top with some glue dots.  Here's a look at the inside:

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day and don't forget to join us this week at My Time Made Easy.

Sing Praises To God

Hello again.  Today I'm sharing the last of my VSN weekend stamping session cards.  I had found this digital image from DeeDee's Digis and thought it would be great for the Read The Music challenge - using sheet music on a card.

After printing off my digital sheet music and the images, I colored the image with koh-i-noor pencils and a blender marker before lightly stippling Stampin Up! basic black ink around the edges.  Taking a 1/4 inch circle punch, I punched out a "moon" from some scrap paper and added glitter to the edges so it would look like the coyote was howling at the moon from the desert.

Once I started my layering, I decided to keep everything else in a simple black/white theme, including the primas, brads, and ribbon.  Not bad, huh?

Thanks for stopping by today.  The week is almost over folks.

Dove Of Sympathy

Second post today.  For my teapot challenge card, please scroll one post down.  Thanks.

I had made this card a couple of weeks ago just in case I would need it.  Unfortunately, the need came sooner than I wanted it to.

The image and saying is a digital set from DeeDee's Digis and I so love this one.  It's easy to color and makes an elegant card.

After coloring with prismacolor markers and stippling Stampin Up! soft sky ink around the dove, I then embossed some Stampin Up! real red card stock using the floral Cuttlebug embossing folder.  After layering, adding an embossed strip across the middle, some black baby brads and gold flower clip were the perfect finishing touches.
