Hello and welcome. Today begins a new challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're sponsored by Gerda Steiner Designs. I would like to thank them for their sponsorship and for providing images for the design team to use. My card today feature's their Owl I Want For Christmas digital stamp.
I started out by printing my owl onto Neenah white card stock before coloring it using both Lyra and Castle Arts pencils. Once my coloring was finished, I stippled Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink around it before layering and adding brads. Setting the owl aside, I dug up my retired Stampin Up poinsettia jumbo wheel and stamped the card base using it in retired rose red ink. I then cut a small rose red scrap to use as a border and added that to the card using glue dots. After adding my layered owl, I over-stamped the Merry Christmas from Colorado Craft Company's Bethlehem's Light stamp set in memento tuxedo black before adding a bling flourish from my stash. The final touch was two googlie eyes using glue dots.
Challenges entered:
Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #57 - Use Your NBUS (owl image, Merry Christmas saying)
Splitcoaststampers USEIT2023 - Use Your Unloved Stash (poinsettia wheel)
