PIP 2226

 Sponsored by Lawn Fawn

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we are being sponsored by Lawn Fawn.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship for this week's challenge.  My card today uses the adorable Winter Alpaca stamp set and the matching die here along with a bunch of snippets.  In fact, with the exception of the card base, the entire card is made using a few snippets here...a few snippets there. ;)

I started out by stamping my alpacas in memento tuxedo black ink onto scrap paper then colored using both Prismacolor and Copic markers before die cutting and setting aside.  I then took some scrap designer paper and added it to a red card before cutting a couple of "hills" from scrap Neenah card stock before stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink then adding to my card.  After die cutting some Sizzix medium pine trees (retired) from scrap card stock using my Big Shot, I painted a little bit of white paint on the bottom of the trees, after stippling some wild wasabi ink on them then adding them to my card.  After popping up my alpacas, and stamping some snowflakes, I stamped the saying before cutting it apart to add.  Once I added some crystal ice stickles, my card was finished.  I'm just about done making my Christmas cards for this year and since it's been so hot here, I think I'll just start on next years and dream of a White Christmas.

  1. Thos alpacas are just so cute Bonnie Lynn and love them frolicking about in the snow, and the bright snowflake background matches their pretty scarves. Thank you for joining us at the NBUS Challenge again this month. x
