Dia de los Muertos

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card inspired by my mom (step-mom) who recently passed away.  For some reason, this card was hard for me to make.  I'm not sure why.  It wouldn't happen to be the stress, COVID or migraines? *roll eyes* My card is made using the Day of the Dead and Spookytown 2 sets from Conjurer of Dreams.

After combining the images in Photoshop©, I printed it out onto Neenah white card stock before layering, distressing, then inking, the edges and adding black brads. I then added it to my card using pop up glue dots before adding ribbon from my stash.  Taking some matching card stock scraps and my MS punches, I punched out several ferns & small flowers before running those through my paper crimper.  Once that was finished, I added them to the card using glossy accents before adding a couple of resin flowers I found in my stash.  The final touch was adding a touch of black stickles.

Challenges entered:

Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #67 - Use Your NBUS (images, background, resin flowers)
CD Sunday Plus #144 - Anything Goes Digital (Conjurer of Dreams images/background)

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.
