Sponsored by Newton's Nook
Hello and welcome. Today starts a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Newton's Nook. I would like to thank them for their sponsorship of this week's challenge. For my card this week, I used my own cats as inspiration and pulled out my Newton Caroling set that I bought end of last year and hadn't used yet (NBUS). These cute little cats make me think of my own cats, and fosters, "singing the song of their peoples" whenever they feel like it.
After stamping the images in memento tuxedo black on Copic X-press It white, I colored everything using both prismacolor and copic markers before layering and stippling some Stampin Up soft sky ink using my blending brushes from Picket Fence Studios. I then fussy cut the mice out and added those using micro pop dots. After adding some music note brads, I adhered the image panel using pop up glue dots on a green card dry embossed using a Cuttlebug allegro embossing folder. The final touch was adding some poinsettia dew drops from my stash and some crystal/waterfall ice stickles to highlight the snowfall.
