Hello and welcome. I'm guest designing for Gerda today, so I'd like to share a card I made for a few challenges using Halloween images in a funny way.
I started out by grabbing a Spooky Tree background I had from Conjurer of Dreams I had leftover from another project then adhered it to a black card base. Taking my Ghost stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs, I stamped all of my ghosts and saying in memento tuxedo black on Hammermill white card stock. Once I had the ghosts "colored" using my markers, I fussy cut them out then adhered them to the spooky card base. I then layered my saying onto scrap black card stock, then adhered that to the card using pop dots. I then added some purple organdy ribbon, black/purple sequins and some clay ghosts to finish it off. I'm really happy with how this turned out. This card would be perfect for Halloween or snarky birthdays. Unfortunately, Gerda has decided to no longer create stamps and is currently offering a 20% discount on stock currently in the store.
