A Hanging Hello

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share with you a card I've had made for a week, or so, but just haven't had to energy, or felt well enough, to photograph and upload.  Between my migraines, and still healing from the fall, I've not felt good at all.  The images are all from a retired Slimline Hanging Plants at Pajama Crafter Stamps.

I started by stamping all of the images in memento tuxedo black ink "following loosely" the provided sketch in the Pajama Crafter Stamps Facebook Group.  I made sure to stamp the double tiered hanger twice so I could fussy cut it to pop up later.  This way the element for the right hand side would stand out better.  I did the same with the saying.  The final embellishments were a small pre-made bow and some bling from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.

  2. Hi, Bonnie Lynn. I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through so much. Please know that I prayed for you today as I stopped by. I just took a quiet moment to ask God to draw close to you, and draw you closer to Him. That's where our true peace begins. When I'm in pain (physically or emotionally) I also create my cards as an escape of some sort; at least in a small way. You don't truly "escape" what's going on, but you're not thinking about it so much. The same is true of when I draw close to God. I just lay all my heartaches and pain on Him and ask Him to take it far from me. Life is not ever perfect, but it's so much better with God at the center. I can attest to that. Anyway, thanks so much for sharing your wonderful art with us. I've enjoyed all the wonderful cards you've shared with us over the years. I'm blessed to know that it's been therapeutic for you to create. The element of sharing your art allows others (like me) to enjoy it. I really do enjoy your art. Thanks again for sharing with us, and hang in there. I'll be praying for you. I mean that.

    Blessings,
