For my card, I decided to ink up a new stamp set from Brass and Bliss called Pirates Under the High Seas. After I stamped my images onto white X-Press card stock, I colored everything using Copic markers before fussy cutting and setting aside. I dug out a gnome house die I received as a gift, die cut scraps, before coloring and turning it into an underwater "clubhouse". I then dug out some water colored designer paper and added it to my card. After die cutting some sea weed out and adding pearls, plus sequins, my card was finished. I then decided to add a touch of whimsy by adding googlie eyes to the shark, crab and octopus/rubber duck.
Did you know that sharks play an important role in the ecosystem by maintaining the species below them in the food chain and serving as an indicator for ocean health. They help remove the weak and the sick as well as keeping the balance with competitors helping to ensure species diversity.
