Vintage Tweeny Teen Fairy Hop-N-Shop
Welcome to MFT's Shop-And-Hop blog hop. You should have come from Frances's blog. If not, you should go back to Kim's blog because you don't want to miss any of the eye candy along the way. Besides one of the Design Team's blog has a treat for one lucky hopper.
First, let me say I have had a blast being part of the December Temp Team and want to thank Kim, Jody for letting me be a part of the Design Team for a bit, and all of the other team members for their hard work.
Today I have another project to show you from MFT's December release. I'm using Tweeny Teen You Give Me Wings from the Pure Innocence line. I'm having so much fun using this set and wanted to try seeing if I could make a vintage type card with it.
I started out by stamping my image twice onto MFT's cream Perfect Panels in memento tuxedo black ink and coloring with prismacolor markers before cutting one out. After everything was layered, I added TCP glitzy glitter to the cut out image before popping it up with dimensionals. Here's a close up of it.
Before adding it to the card, I decided to use MFT's faux crochet border Die-namic on Stampin Up! mauve mist and sage shadow card stock. To give the card some extra dimension, I decided to layer the mauve border over the sage negative, and then lightly stipple mauve mist dye ink over both of them. Finding an old style vintage button in my stash, I cut off the back and added it with a pop up glue dot next to some prima flowers. For the final touch, Tim Holtz old paper ink is lightly stippled over the entire card to age it a bit more.
I hope you have enjoyed all of the projects I've showcased using the new release products. Now onto Michele's blog for some more amazing eye candy.
