Howdy peeps! Today I have another fun card for you by Taylored Expressions. The set is called The Places You Go and it has phrases from several books I remember reading to my kids when they were little.
This card uses a phrase from Dr. Seuss paired with a hot air balloon coming out of a book...the stuff imaginations are made of.
I started by stamping my main image in memento ink on white cardstock twice and then coloring with prismacolor markers before cutting one balloon image out to pop up on dimensionals. Stampin Up! brilliant blue dye ink is stippled on the outside of the sky before layering, then adding the brads and ribbon bow with the same for the Dr. Seuss saying.
The card is a clean and simple style showing you don't always need to have something in the background to take up the space.
