Tweet Blessings - Play Date Cafe Color Splash

Hello and welcome.  I hope everyone enjoyed last week's Mark's Finest Papers & Stamps, a Heinrich Company's June stamp release & blog hop.  If you missed the hop, you can always go back through on the Speedy Fox blog.

After finally getting rid of a 3 week migraine, I could concentrate long enough to stamp again, and it sure felt good getting inky.  I decided to go with last week's Play Date Cafe color splash challenge in order to get the mojo flowing again and pulled out a stamp set that had not seen ink yet called Tweet Blessings.

I started out by stamping my main image in memento bahama blue ink onto MFP snow storm smooth heavy card stock before inking the edges of the image and then layered using black linen & bang up blue card stocks before adding mini black brads.  The saying is stamped in memento tuxedo black with the edges inked in bahama blue & layered with card stock scraps before adding matching black baby brads.  The whole card took about 15minutes to complete.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.
