For my card, I chose to go with a simple black/white with a pop of color theme - vintage style, so I pulled out some Echo Park Yours Truly designer paper and thumbed through it to find my inspiration.
Once I had decided on the designer paper, I stamped the sewing machine from In Stitches in memento tuxedo black ink onto Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company snow storm smooth card stock before taking a memento ladybug red teardrop ink pad to the edges and adding just a little bit of ink; then layering. Once my layering was finished, I added some Making Memories black baby brads and adhered the image over a small strip of red damask designer paper also from the Echo Park Yours Truly pack before stamping my saying, making sure it matched the sewing machine image before adhering. The only embellishments I added were black/white Recollections paper flowers from Michael's with a red gem center and then some additional red gemstones on the bottom left hand corner.
Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to stop by the rest of the design teams blogs to leave some love for a chance to win today's featured set. Have a great day.
