PIP Challenge 2446

 Sponsored by StarStampz

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by StarStampz. For my card, I am using the Polar Bear digital image.

I started out by printing the image onto Neenah white card stock before pulling out my Castle Arts watercolor pencils, colored the image before blending with an alcohol marker.  After edging the image in memento tuxedo black ink, I layered it before adding white brads and distressing the edges then setting aside.  My card is dry embossed using a Sizzix© snowflake embossing folder with Stampin Up bliss blue ink rubbed lightly over the embossed images and sides.  Taking some snowflake felt fusion I've had for years, I added a border of individual snowflakes before adding my layered image using pop up glue dots.  The final embellishments were white/silver bakers twine, snowflake sequins, silver star stickers and ice stickles glitter glue.  As an afterthought, I added just a touch of white gel pen to the little girl's eyes.

PIP Challenge 2346

 Sponsored by StarStampz

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're sponsored by  StarStampz.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship and for providing images for the design team to use.  Since I'm still working on my Christmas cards, my card today is featuring their Christmas Star image.

After printing the image on Neenah white card stock, I colored it using both prismacolor and copic markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I stippled Tim Holtz stormy sky and tumbled glass distress inks around my colored image before layering and adding brads.  Setting the layered image panel aside, I dug out the retired Impression Obsession Holiday Borders I received from a friend and stamped the card base using the tree border repeatedly in Tim Holtz pine needles distress inks.  After running my paper distresser along the edge of the layered image panel, I adhered it to my card base using pop up glue dots.  The final touches were silver/white twine along one edge and crystal ice stickles to highlight the falling snow.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we are being sponsored by Star Stampz.  I would like to thank them for providing the images the design team is using this week.  My card today uses the Spring Ladybug image along with a sentiment from MFP Stamp Shop (now closed).

I started out by printing my image onto Neenah white card stock then coloring using Castle Arts pencils before stippling some Tim Holtz tumbled glass and Stampin Up green galore ink around the image.  Once the coloring was finished, I layered it using some scrap card stock before adding brads and adding to the card base.  I then stamped the saying in memento tuxedo black ink before highlighting parts of the image using Castle Arts gel pen and a Sakura 3D black glaze pen.

PIP 2120

Challenge 2120 - Team A

May 17
Sponsored by StarStampz

Hello and welcome to another Pammie's Inky Pinkies challenge.  This week we are sponsored by StarStampz.  I would like to thank them for the images they provided the design team.  For my project today, I am using the image Goldfish Fishing.

I started out by printing the image onto Neenah white card stock then colored it using Castle Art pencils before stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass/mowed lawn ink around the edges then layered and adding purple brads.  For the card, I started out by stamping a retired Stampin Up background Hearts and Swirls in Altnew Deep Iris ink before dry embossing a scrap strip of lavender card stock.  Once both of those were done, I assembled my card base then added the layered image panel.  I then stamped my saying in memento tuxedo black ink from a long retired Stampin Up set called Mixed Greetings.  After adding some silk flowers with a matching purple brad center, my card was finished.
