PIP Challenge 2632

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're sponsored by Sunbird Spark.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship of our challenge.  For my card, I am using their retired set called Spooky.

I started out by stamping all of the images on to Copic© white card stock before coloring using Ohuhu markers.  Once all of my coloring was finished, I lightly stippled memento tuxedo black to darken things up a bit before layering and adding brads.  Digging through my stash of Halloween stuff, I found some black cat dimensional stickers I've had for years and hadn't used.  After adding one to my card, and some faux stitching to the top, my card was finished.

Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenge #54

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge at Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenge where the theme is always Anything Goes Fantasy (gnomes, fairies, unicorns, dragons, etc).  My project today is a set of ATC's (artist trading cards) using digital stamps and dies.

I started out by combining images from a free ATC sheet from Conjurer of Dreams a few months back with the following clip art: Sea Creatures ClipartMermaid ScalesMerman Clipart, Coral Clipart.  I then used various dies (coral, seaweed) and punches (crab, shells, sea horses) to create my embellishments from scraps before adding pearls I had forgotten about, and stickles, to finish them off.  I'm very happy with how these turned out.

Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love #31

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love challenge.  As always the BEWAS (Birthday, Engangement, Wedding, Anniversary, Sympathies)  theme is Anything Goes with the optional theme of Travel/Vacation.  I went with anything goes/birthday theme and used a digital set from Colorado Craft Company called Big and Bold Avocado Love.

I started out by combining the images in MSWORD, using the tutorial by Nancy Sheads before printing on Hammermill white card stock and coloring using Ohuhu markers.  Once my coloring was finished, I lightly stippled stormy sky distress ink before layering and adding some square brads from my stash.  After the layered panel was adhered to my card, I adhered a small pre-made bow before finding some ladybug stickers from my stash to finish it off.  I'm happy with how it turned out since I've been dealing with migraines and a fibromyalgia flare again.

Shark Week 2026

Hello and welcome. Today I am participating in a shark week Instagram hop and for my card, I've used digital images from Sweet November Stamps. I started out by combining the following SNS digital sets: The Guppies: SandcastleMermaid Lagoon Background BuilderScuba SarahShark SambaHarbor Sunnyshore with Rocky, Jetty, Hopper and Manatee Mambo.  Before printing onto Hammermill white card stock, I added the Dance Hall sign to the sandcastle.

Once I had my scene printed out, I colored it using Ohuhu markers before blending Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink and caramel inks to help fill in the water and sand.  I then layered the image panel before adding sand dollar brads I've had for years and adhered it to a pacific pointe card.  Taking various dies and punches, I added the sea creatures before adding stardust stickles to highlight the water.  A white gel pen highlights all of the bubbles.

Did you know there are 400+ species of sharks with some weighing up to 11 tons.  Many shark, and ray, species are threatened with extinction due to over fishing and the demand for their fins. (Information from World Wildlife Fund).

THEME: WATER

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're sponsored by Pattie's Creations.  I would like to thank Pattie for sponsoring this week's challenge.  Since this is the 5th Monday, we have a theme this week of WATER.  Now go for it!!

I started out by printing Pattie's Silly Fisherman on Hammermill white card stock before coloring using my Ohuhu markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I lightly blended some stormy sky distress ink using a blender brush before layering and adding some faux brads.  Setting the layered image aside, I dry embossed a green card using a tree ring embossing folder and my Big Shot©.  After adhering my layered panel, I added a chipboard birthday saying, punched frog, googlie eyes and some ice stickles to highlight the water.  I'm really happy with how this turned out especially since I've had a hard time health wise lately.

Sunshine

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a quick clean and simple card made using the Tractor Florals set from Conjurer of Dreams.   This image reminds me of my late step-grandmother's flower garden she used to have on their grape raisin farm.

After printing the image onto Hammermill white card stock, I layered it before adding some faux brads then adhered it to a green card.  I then added some Dollar Tree© wood sticker embellishments before highlighting the flower centers using stardust stickles.  Quick, simple and fabulous.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love challenge.  As always the BEWAS (Birthday, Engangement, Wedding, Anniversary, Sympathies)  theme is Anything Goes with this months option being Masculine cards.  For my project today, I am using some Gecko Galz digital stamp and paper and I'm going with the Anything Goes theme.

I started out by printing my image from the Spring Blush digital stamps then colored it using Castle Arts Harmonious pencils.  Once the coloring was finished, I lightly stippled Tim Holtz lavender/tattered rose distress inks around the image before layering.  I then printed out a damask page from Le Palais Rose digital papers and stippling the same inks around the edges.  After assembling the card, I stamped the saying from a long retired Stampin Up set, Hope for Comfort, then punched it out.  The final touches were some bling and a mauve organdy ribbon on the side.

Heart's Quest Shaped Cards and Tags #18

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge at Heart's Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags where our challenge theme is Anything Goes Shaped cards (no square, A2).  For my card this month, I went with a tag shaped card using a pre-made card pack I've had for years and never used.

I started out by embossing my card using a Cuttlebug© dots embossing folder and my Big Shot© before blending tumbled glass distress ink over the raised images.  I then printed out a Birds On A Branch image from Conjurer of Dreams.  After printing my image, I layered it onto scrap card stock before blending tumbled glass distress ink around the layered image before adding some faux brads.  I then die cut several different leaves/stems/flowers from scrap card stock to create my own floral spray before stamping my saying in the bottom right corner.  The final touches was some fibers I've had for years, bling and stardust stickles highlighting the centers of the embossed images and flowers.
