  Challenge 2130 - Team A,

July 26

https://www.etsy.com/shop/WeAre3

Hello and welcome to another challenge for Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  This week we are being sponsored by We Are Three.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship and for providing the design team images to showcase.  My card today uses the Camille's Cactus, Cactus Greetings, and Cactus Western Green digital paper.

After printing the image out 3 times to allow for layering, I colored the cactus using prismacolor and copic markers before cutting two of the cacti out; then layered the one panel with the saying.  After adding brads, I adhered the layered panel to my card base before adding the cut out cacti popping them up for added dimension.

The Time Has Come

It is  with sadness that I have to tell you as of this yesterday, we are shutting down the Challenge blog!   This is so sad because the team has worked so hard and shown so much dedication to Bugaboo over the last 11 years but without a store there is no reason to continue.

Thank you all for your  dedication, love and support to Bugaboo over the years it has been a blast but all good things must come to an end!  Thanks to the loyal followers who have helped us bring Bugaboo images to life over the years

I want to thank the Bugaboo DT, all current and past DT members as well as our Guest DT members for all their hard work and dedication to Bugaboo without them we would not be where we are today!

The the current FF image will be left up at Catch The Bug til next Friday so please grab it while you can!

All current challenges have be shut down, I'm a so sorry for the inconvenience.

PIP 2128

    Challenge 2128 - Team A

 July 12

Sponsored by Polkadoodles

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies.  I would like to thank Polkadoodles for sponsoring this week's challenge and for providing the design team the images used this week.  My card this week features a fairly clean and simple design and features the Let's Go - Winnie image.

After printing my image onto Neenah white card stock, I colored it using Castle Art pencils before stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink around it.  Once the image was layered, I added some faux brads before adding the layered image to my card.  Pulling out a long retired Stampin Up phrase set, I stamped my phrase in memento tuxedo black ink then added some faux sewing to the layered image.  Some diamond ice stickles highlight the rose center.

Jesus The Reason For The Season

Hello and welcome.  Today starts a new Anything Goes challenge over at Bugaboo's blog Catch The Bug.  You know what?  Our Saturday challenges are now ALL Anything Goes and is a month long challenge now.  So there's no excuse for not entering....right?  Since I'm still dealing with this blasted migraine I've had for a couple months now, I decided to take a tag I had made a few months back using the Christmas Words - Jesus image and finally turn it into a card and what theme could be better than the true reason for the Christmas season. The birth of Jesus - God's only Son.

The image is printed onto Neenah white card stock and colored using prismacolor markers with Tim Holtz chipped sapphire  distress ink stippled around the edges.  The card is made using a navy card that is dry embossed using a Sizzix plaid embossing folder I've had for years and never used (NBUS) yet and my big shot.  The ribbon is a scrap and is adhered using Making Memories staples.  The star is highlighted using gold ice stickles.
