Castle Bookmark
Hello and Happy Hump Day. Today I am sharing a quick project I made for a couple of challenges, and it is also a sneak peek of a set being released next week by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company called Honor and Glory. My images are stamped in memento tuxedo black then colored with prismacolor markers before stippling garden green and Tim Holtz tumbled glass inks around them for the grass and sky. I then layered my bookmark onto some scrap green designer paper, cut down to size, before placing into a plastic sleeve I had bought a while back then added some olive ribbon.

Celebrating Fruit
Hello and Happy New Year! Today I am sharing a card I made for my husband to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary using Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company's set called Celebrate Big. Since I had planned to computer generate my own sentiment, I used the fruit bowl and fruit stamps from the set and went with a bright color theme.
I stamped my images on MFP white card stock in memento black ink, as well as some scrap card stock, then colored with prismacolor markers before layering onto some Stampin Up! bold bright card stock. After creating my own background by stamping "Happy Anniversary" repeatedly, I added the layered image before cutting out the additional fruits to use as my own brads. Once those were added using glue dots, I generated my sentiment using MS Word, printed it out onto white card stock, added again with glue dots, before adding diamond ice stickles to the fruit to highlight portions of them.
I am also submitting this card for the following challenges:
Party Time Tuesdays - PTT 101 Celebrations
Tuesday Throwndown - TT128 Bright and Happy New Year (use of bright colors)
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day.
Stamps: MFP Celebrate Big
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Stampin Up! Rose Red
Card Stock: MFP White, Stampin Up! Only Orange, Rose Red, Brilliant Blue
Accessories: Prismacolor Markers, Ice Stickles, Glue Dots

Sunflowers
Hello and welcome to Thursday! The week is almost over. Today I am sharing a card I made using some gorgeous Graphic 45 paper I was gifted along with one of my favorite sets from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company called Bring On The Sun. Now I just love sunflowers so this week's challenges were perfect for a little coloring.
I started out by stamping my main image in memento tuxedo black onto corn husk card stock before coloring with prismacolor markers and layering. Once my layering was finished, I pulled out some sunflower sticker photo corners from my stash, added those to both the image and saying as my only embellishment. Since the Graphic 45 paper is so beautiful, it shows off my sunflower perfectly without having to use a whole lot of "fluff". After a week of nasty migraines, I definitely needed something to come together easily.

A Quiet Day Fishing
Second post for me today. If you're looking for my Technique Junkie blog hop card, please scroll down one post.
I've had this fishing hole idea floating around in my head since Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company released the new Scenic Selections and Get Reel stamp sets and finally got a chance to put it to card stock when I saw the challenges for this weeks Party Time Tuesday's and Tuesday Throwdown. I remember my dad taking me fishing and camping during the summer months while in elementary school. I had so much fun and wanted to capture those memories.

I remember my dad taking me fishing and camping during the summer months while in elementary school. I had so much fun and wanted to capture those memories.
I started out by stamping my images in memento tuxedo black ink onto MFP snow storm smooth and then colored with koh-i-noor pencils and a blender marker. Once I coloring was done, I pulled out my stipple brushes and stippled some Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink and then along the sides before sponging my lake using Tim Holtz chipped sapphire distress ink and then stippling forest moss along the bottom. Once I was satisfied with my ink coverage, I stamped some extra rocks and a butterfly, colored them, and cut out to pop up using pop dots before adding some vintage brads and highlighting the water ripples and grass with copic spica pens.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day.
