Halloween Cake Greetings

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card made using an image I've had colored for some time, just didn't turn it into a card yet.  The image is from Simply Betty Stamps (now closed) and is colored using my prismacolor pencils. I have leftover tumbled glass distress ink stippled around her before layering and adding black brads.  I then popped the layered image up over a dry embossed spiderweb card.  The final touches were thunderstorm bling and some spider sequins.  I'm pretty happy with how she turned out.

Thinking Of You Mermaid

Hello and welcome.  Although I've been dealing with a nasty migraine, I needed a card for a friend who's been very sick lately and just had surgery, so I printed out this Flowing Mermaid I bought years ago from Simply Betty Stamps (now closed).  Once she was printed on to Hammermill white card stock, I colored her using both prismacolor and copic markers before layering and adding brads.  My card is stamped using a long retired Stampin Up Whimsy jumbo wheel in bermuda bay ink before sponging the same ink along the edges of the card.  Once I added my layered image, I lightly stippled bermuda bay around my image before adding some retired Picket Fence Studios spiked ocean water sequins.  The final touch was adding crystal ice stickles to her tail and hair.  I'm pleased with how she turned out.

An Inspiring Gal And Her Brains

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card made with the A Gal With Brains digital stamp from Simply B Stamps.  I've had this image for a while, just never did anything with it after getting it colored.  I'm normally not much of a zombie person, but wanted to try something outside of my "box".

After printing the image on Neenah white card stock and colored using prismacolor markers, I stippled Tim Holtz milled lavender and stormy sky distress inks around it.  I then stippled Stampin Up green galore, cool caribbean and summer sun dye inks before over stamping my sanded background from Stampin Up then layered her and added some dusty Basic Grey brads.  I then added her to a lavender card with S.E.I. (I think) designer paper scraps I've had for some time as well as a stamped lavender border using Stampin Up's Itty Bitty Backgrounds.  For embellishments, I added some dusty prima flowers with a blue pearl center, black ribbon and a row of blue bling pearls.

April Showers

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share a card made using the April digi from Simply Betty Stamps

After printing off my digi and coloring using both prismacolor and copic markers, I stippled some Stampin Up temping turquoise ink over and around the image panel before layering.  I then pulled out some forgotten Fine and Dandy designer paper from My Minds Eye, added to my card base, then again stippled turquoise ink around the card base.  The only embellishments added were brads, ice stickles for water on the ground, and some Sakura 3D glaze pens.

R U Ready? Plus More NBUS

Second post from me today.  If you're looking for my Summer's Last Hurrah post, please scroll down one.

Hello and again welcome.  Tonight I'd like to share a card I made using another retired image from Simply B Stamps.   Since this Thursday is the official start of  football here in the United States, I decided to use Jude's Longest Yard and is a digital stamp I haven't had the chance to use yet.  Once I printed the image out onto white card stock and colored using both prismacolor and copic markers, I stippled some Tim Holtz tumbled glass, brushed corduroy distress inks along with some garden green dye ink from Stampin Up!  Since I didn't have any silver card stock in my stash (Raiders fan here), I then layered it onto some black and basic grey card stock before adding silver brads.  My saying was made using a retired MFT Stamps alphabet set on to some scrap black/grey card stock.

Hello Weekend!!!

Welcome!  Yay it's Friday!!!  This is my third post of the day.  For all other challenge entries, please scroll down.  Thank you.

Since I was hurting pretty bad again last night, I tried to focus on something else like coloring.  I'd like to share with you two cards I made using retired images from Simply B Stamps.

The first card was made for a friends mom who's recovering from a car accident.  I colored the image using both prismacolor and copic markers before stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink around the edges; layering then adding black button brads.  I then made the card background by rolling a retired Stampin Up Dot to Dot wheel in real red dye ink.  After stamping the saying onto scrap paper using memento tuxedo black ink, I punched it out using my largest Stampin Up whale punch.  The only other embellishments added were some prima flowers and bling from my stash.

My second card was made using Betty's retired Be Silly image.  After coloring it using both prismacolor and copic markers, I stippled some Stampin Up basic grey ink around the edges before layering on scrap card stock from my Lola card.  The only embellishments added were red brads and some red bling to make a "choker" necklace.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.
