We All Have Magic

Hello and welcome.  Second post for me today.  If you're looking for my Pammies Inky Pinkies challenge post, please scroll down one.

Today is Anything But A Card day over at Catch The Bug and I'd like to share with you a journal I made using the Harry Potter Collage I've wanted to use for some time, just never have gotten to it.  Whenever the back to school sales start, I always try to get a few of the composition notebooks to decorate and give as gifts - this one will be going to my daughter.

After printing my image off onto Hammermill white card stock, I colored it using both prismacolor and copic markers before cutting down and layering.  For the journal, I dusted off some designer paper I had bought at Costco years ago and have used only a couple of sheets out of.  Once the designer paper was glued to the notebook, I added my layered image before die cutting flowers using my big shot and a Sizzix die I received as a RAK from a friend.

A Little Hedgie Birthday

Hello and welcome.  Today is the third day of Bugaboo's birthday bash over at Catch The Bug and we're all about Anything Bug A Card (tags, birthday wrapping, packaging, etc).  My project today uses the cute little Hedgehog Flower, which is new to me, along with a long retired Stampin Up birthday saying

After printing my image onto Neenah white card stock and coloring using Castle Art pencils with a blender pencil, I stippled Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink around the edges before adding a little SU garden green ink to highlight the grass.  Once the colored image was layered, I added the saying, some brads then a ribbon topper before highlighting parts with 3D glaze pens and it was finished.  I'm really happy with how it turned out especially since I'm still dealing with this blasted migraine.  Winter is always my worst time of the year for my migraines.  For some reason, I'm able to handle rain easier than this blasted fog we've been dealing with.

Autumn Bookmark

Hello and welcome.  Today's Anything But A Card project is another bookmark.  This time I'm using Bugaboo Stamps image Autumn Sign.  Since my family reads a lot (non electronic books), I make bookmarks every year for Christmas stockings.

After printing my image off onto Hammermill white card stock, I colored it using both prismacolor and copic markers then layered onto scrap card stock.  Since I was going to be placing the bookmark into a plastic sleeve I had bought years ago, I made my own brads out of scrap black card stock using a small hole punch and Martha Stewart glue pen.  Once I had punched the top, I added some dusty Basic Grey Mello fibers.
