Just Some Winter ATC's

Hello and welcome.  Really quick post today as I'm in a lot of pain and not focusing good right now.   I have a couple of ATC's made using this month's free sheet from Gecko Galz.  After trimming down to size, and layering, I added some small, icy floral sprays as embellishments before adding star dust ice stickles as the only embellishments.  Close up's below:

A Merry Christmas Train

Hello and welcome.  Second post today.  I have a Christmas card I'd like to share made using image sets from Conjurer of Dreams.

I started out by combining the Steam Train in the SeasonsWindow Frames Night and Holiday Greetings sets in Photoshop before printing it out onto Neenah white card stock.  The Christmas tree image is a free clipart from the web.  Once I was finished printing, I layered it and added some silver diamond brads before running a fingernail along the edges then added it to my card base using pop up glue dots.  Digging through my stash, I found some grey velvet ribbon and a matching hat pin I've had lying around for years.  After adding those, the only other embellishment added was some yellow stickles (for the tree) and a clear 3D glaze pen to highlight the saying and my card was finished.  I'm happy with it since I had to push through my migraine to make it.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Sunbird Spark (formerly Penguin Palace).  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship of this week's challenge. My card this week uses their digital image Garden Fairy.

After printing it out on Neenah white card stock, I pulled out my Castle Arts & Lyra flesh tone colored pencils and got to work coloring it.  Once my I was finished, I lightly blended some stormy sky and mowed lawn distress inks using my blender brushes before layering and adding purple brads.  I added the layered image panel to a dry embossed card using glue dots.  Digging through my stash of Prima flowers, I found a jar of small purple hued flowers and added those before adding bling to their centers.  The final touch was adding both clear bling, and crystal ice stickles, to the centers of the flowers and fairy's wings.  I'm really happy with how this turned out especially since this migraine is still around.  It's to the point of push through or cry, and crying hurts more.

Missing Parts

Hello and welcome.  Today I'd like to share with you a card I finally assembled using the Conjurer of Dreams Grumpy Cat pre-colored digital image.  I added the saying using Photoshop© before printing out onto Neenah white card stock before running a dark brown copic marker along the edges.  Once that was finished, I layered it and added copper brads and copper cord along the edges.  I'm happy with how this turned out since I'm still dealing with this migraine that won't go away.  It's been a month now fighting this thing and I'm getting really tired of being in pain.  It's gotten to the point of push through it or cry.

Be A Mermaid

Welcome to the Recycled Artistry IG Hop hosted by @newdawncards and @createwithkas ♻️ We’re taking recycling to the craft room and giving new life to discarded items in a creative way. From paper towel rolls, junk mail envelopes, cereal boxes, bubble wrap and so much more, we encourage you to look around and see if you can ‘use it before you lose it’ to the trash! We post once a month on the 2nd Tuesday at 2 PM EST. To join, message Dawn or Kelly and tag us using #recycledartistryighop.

For my card, I decided to go with the Anything Goes part of the theme and pulled out some avocado netting I saved from the trash. I paired it with some digital quirky mermaids from Conjurer of Dreams along with a free background from COD's Facebook group.  I held the netting on my card using pewter shell brads (to look like a fishing net) and added a few shells "caught in the net".  The saying is from a retired mermaid set from Picket Fence Studios.  When adding my saying to the card, I pinched the edges a bit to make it appear to be moving in the waves.  After adding some ice stickles, it was finished.  I'm really happy with how it turned out since I made it while dealing with this migraine that won't go away.

PIP Challenge 2502

 Sponsored by

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by  Gerda Steiner Designs.  I would like to thank Gerda for her sponsorship and for providing images for the design team to use.  My card this week is featuring Gerda's Newsletter freebie and it's a great way to say Happy New Year to some one.

After printing off the image onto Neenah white card stock, I dug out my Copic markers and colored the image before blending some leftover stormy sky distress ink using my blending brush then layering and adding brads.  Setting the layered image aside, I stamped my card base using a retired Stampin Up Beyond Basics background stamps in so saffron ink then stippled the same ink around the edges.  I then added the layered image using glue dots before digging around in my stash for matching, but dusty, Prima flowers.  After adding those using micro glue dots, I added some bling to the centers, twine on the top and yellow stickles to the star.  I'm really happy with how it turned out since my migraines have been active again.
