Published! Friends, Rocks and Trees

Hello and welcome to April!  Now where did March go?  Today I am sharing a card I just had published in the Spring 2013, of RubberStampMadness.

The main images are stamped in memento tuxedo black ink onto white card stock using the following Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company stamp sets: Scenic SelectionsTree Selections Mini, and Silhouette Mini Selections.  Once all of my images were stamped out, I colored most of them using prismacolor markers before lightly stippling Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink around the edges to help fill in the sky.  I stamped a couple of additional bare limb trees in Tim Holtz frayed burlap and scattered straw distress inks around the pond as "reeds" before layering the image panel and adding some vintage brads.  The card itself is stamped in Tim Holtz forest moss distress ink using the large tree from Tree Greetings before finally adding the layered image panel and an additional brad spelling out "FRIENDS".

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.
