Freesia Happiness

Second post for me today.  If you're looking for my CAS-ology challenge post, please scroll down one.

Due to my migraines, it's been a while since I've been able to participate in a Cornish Heritage Farms challenge, however, this week I found a way to get one done using a retired stamp (now in digital form) that was in terrible need of some love called Freesia Happiness.

I stamped both my card and layer backgrounds using the freesia flower image and some retired Stampin Up! ink to create my own designer paper before stamping the same flower in memento tuxedo black ink onto white card stock and coloring with prismacolor markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I lightly sponged plum and sage shadow inks around the edges of the image and card before stamping my saying, then sponging, and adding my own faux brads then primas with bling centers.

Challenges entered:

  2. I know that this comment is a bit late in coming, but I just had to let you know, what a wonderful job you did with this image. I had never considered using it, until now! Thanks for the inspiration!
