A Pot Of Christmas Tea

Hello.  Welcome to Christmas Week. Are you ready yet?  Well, thanks for stopping by and hopefully I can give you a few moments rest.

Today I'm sharing a card I made using a retired Stampin Up! set called Teacups.  I love drinking tea on a cold day, so this set was made for me.  It's a good thing I never got rid of it since I tend to reach for it from time to time.

I started out by stamping the teapot, cup, sugar bowl & steam on MFT white Perfect Panels in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with prismacolor markers.  Once my coloring was done, I embossed the teapot panel with my square scalloped Nestibillities, cut out the accessory images and added them on dimensionals.

After stamping a background and adding a strip of MFT Winter Solstice ribbon, I layered the teapot image on dimensionals and a couple of Prima poinsettias.  For the final touches, red gem stickers from Michael's were added and diamond ice stickles to the steam to make it stand out more.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look.  Remember, with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, please take time for yourself.
