Make A Wish

Happy Sunday to you all. Thought I would post a cool card since it's so hot here in Central California - 106 again today and we're looking at another 10 days of this kind of weather. Yuck!

Doesn't this card look like a cooler climate to you? To me it does. I had submitted this to Paper Crafts coloring contest back in April, and of course, it wasn't one of their winners. This is Cornish Heritage Farms Thomas Kincade's Make A Wish Cottage; from Thom's cottage series paintings.

I had stamped the image in memento tuxedo black in and then colored with prismacolor markers. Keeping the embellishments simple, the only things I used were vintage brads in the corners and just a hint of ice stickles on the stream behind the wishing well.

So, what do you wish for today? Me, cooler temperatures!

Stamps: CHF Thomas Kincade Make A Wish Cottage
Cardstock: White, Stampin Up! Glorious Green, Gable Green, Black
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Prismacolor Markers, Brads, Ice Stickles
