This week's colors for the Raspberry Suite color challenge are right up my alley - funky! So I decided to pull out a My Favorite Things set that needed some love, Sara Williams Funky Flowers and got to work.
Stamped the vase in memento black on MFT Perfect Panels, love that paper!! It's so perfect for prismacolor markers and doesn't bleed through so is I mess up something I can just flip it over and start new again. The little squiggly lines around the edges are a stamp included in the set, that I'm not sure what it's for, I turned into a border around my vase & flowers. My flowers were stamped on scratch MFT Perfect Panels with memento ink and then both the flowers & vase were colored with prismacolor markers. The background on the card is stamped in Stampin Up! certainly celery dye ink.
After I was done coloring, I cut all of the flowers out and popped them up on dimensionals and mini pop dots. Then the center smaller flower was popped up one more layer as well as the larger daisies in the back. Gem stickers were added to the centers to finish everything off.
The card not only fits the Raspberry Suite color challenge, but is also great for Celebrate MFT as well! The 20th of every month is Celebrate MFT when the MFT Junkies pull out our stamps and get them inky and just have fun with them. Here's the SCS gallery for your viewing pleasure: Celebrate MFT 0709.
