Third post for me today! I'm on a roll here. Here's my take on this week's MFT Sketch challenge. I decided to ink up my new Rainy Day Friends set by Stephanie Fizer. This set is just too stinkin cute and so much fun to play with. While photographing it, I decided to take the pics under one of our birch trees while the breeze was blowing and the shadows that were caught kind of look like the rays of sunshine peeking through the clouds just after a rain shower don't you think?
I let the Stephanie Fizer designer papers choose my colors for me. So I went with Stampin Up riding hood red and baja breeze and paired them with MFT's perfect panels. After stamping my images in memento tuxedo black, I colored everything with prismacolor markers, then cut out the frog and one umbrella layer to pop up with a dimensional later.
Once my card was assembled, I then "doodled" the dots-n-dashes around my cute little girl and added my frog and umbrella. Then stamped my saying, punched it out, layered, and "doodled" around it as well. Primas and bling were added last after lightly stippling Stampin Up! soft sky lightly over everything to soften up the images and outstanding white areas.
