I've always wanted to make a snow globe card and just didn't have the right stamps to make it work.  Well the new Christmas Selections set by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company takes care of that small issue.
 
I started out by downloading, then printing out, my snow globe template onto white and caramel card stocks before cutting out the card. Then I stamped my images from Christmas Selections in memento tuxedo black onto the white card and also scraps of MFP snow storm for popping up later before coloring with koh-i-noor pencils and a blender marker then cutting out.  Then I stamped the base in Adirondack caramel ink using the new Cracked Hello set before adding some of the cut out poinsettia and pine cone images.  Finally, I popped up my remaining cut out images and added some ice stickles so it looked like the snow inside the globe was falling. 
 
I'm pretty happy with the way it came out since I'm still battling a major migraine right now.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day and make sure to stop by the rest of the design team blogs to leave some love for a chance to win today's featured set.

    GORGEOUS!!! I might case you on the snow globe!!!! I have been wanting to make a snow globe card but do not have the die and haven't felt like buying one!!! This is too cute!!!!

    We are quite the group....I have a sinus infection that is coughing me dizzy, Pam has a scratch in her eye and you have a migraine! I think we all need a nice dose of health!!! :) Hope you feel better soon!!!!
