Easter Lilies - Friends of SpeedyTV Challenge #13

Hello everyone and welcome to another Friends of SpeedyTV challenge by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company.   This week we are giving away MFP's Pussy Willow stamp set as the challenge prize.

First, I would like to welcome some new members of the Friends of SpeedyTV design team:

With Easter fast approaching, our challenge this week is to make an Easter card.  I started out by pulling out Blessings and stamping my lily images in memento tuxedo black ink onto Mark's Finest Papers snow storm smooth premium paper and coloring with prismacolor markers before cutting out the lilies.  Once my cutting was done, I then stamped the lilies onto my strawberry milk premium paper card in Tim Holtz tattered rose distress ink as a border around an embossed deep olive panel.

Then I made sure to add the lilies, crossing the stems, with glue dots before adding a pre-made gingham Martha Stewart bow, punched butterflies with bling centers, and then stippling the tattered rose distress ink around the edges of the entire card.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day and please make sure to check out the rest of the design teams samples as well as participate in the challenge.  We'd love to see what you come up with.

  1. Bonnie, your lilies look beautiful! I like that you trimmed them out and backed them with the dark olive color panel!
