Brick Wall

Today we are featuring Flap My Wattles, a fantastic set that's great for get well, snarky birthday's, just because, or basically any type of card you can think of - even home decor!  Although I haven't made it yet, I see this set framed and hanging in my kitchen with the rest of my chicken stuff.

For my card today, I started out by stamping my images in memento tuxedo black ink onto Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company Snow Storm Smooth premium paper and then coloring with prismacolor markers.  Once my coloring was done, I started stippling Adirondack sunshine yellow, Tim Holtz scattered straw, wild honey, and Adirondack stream dye inks around the edges to "age" the panel a bit.  Then after adding some October Afternoon Thrift Shop designer paper over a scrambled egg card base, I stippled the same Adirondack stream ink around the edges so it would match the layered panel.  After adding some wonderful morning sun gingham ribbon, I popped up my panel over the ribbon and then added the saying using a Spellbinders banner die.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day and don't forget to stop by the rest of the design team blogs and leave some love for a chance to win today's featured set.
