I needed to make a few sympathy cards so I pulled out the <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1686238741/stained-glass-beauty-digital-collage-set?click_key=d16cc37b57a8509ad76a796dd95144522fa02880%3A1686238741&click_sum=8782548a&ga_search_query=stained&ref=shop_items_search_1&pro=1" target="_blank">Stained Glass Beauty</a> images I had printed off from <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/geckogalz?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=1686238741&from_page=listing" target="_blank">Gecko Galz</a>, trimmed off the angel and layered it on scrap black card stock before adding some black brads. I then dug out some <i>True Faith</i>© 12x12 designer paper I bought a LONG TIME ago and pulled out the golden cross background, trimmed down to size and adhered it to a black card. I then took my memento tuxedo black "cat eye" ink pad and added some of the ink around the edges of the card so it bled over a bit. Taking the layered angel image, I adhered it at an angle using glue dots before stamping the verse from Matthew 5:4 "<i>Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted</i>" in black ink on a white scrap of card stock. After that was layered, and brads added, I adhered that also at an angle using glue dots. The final touch was three small black flowers I punched from scrap card stock using my Martha Stewart hydrangea punch with some tiny black <a href="https://craftymeraki.com/products/meraki-sparkle-midnight-shimmer-illusion" target="_blank">Crafty Meraki midnight bling</a> added to the centers. Today I'd like to share with you a trio of cards made to send out for Easter using the free <a href="https://gsd-stamps.com/collections/shop-digital-stamps/products/easter-bunnies-digital-stamp" target="_blank">Easter Bunnies</a> digital stamp from <a href="https://gsd-stamps.com/" target="_blank">Gerda Steiner Designs</a>. For some reason, it seems I'm never ready for sending Easter cards out. This year is no different. These three cards are at least a head start for me, especially since I've had this image for awhile and not used it yet.</div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by combining the digital stamp and my own typed saying in a watermarking program, then printed them out onto Neenah white card stock. I then pulled out my Prismacolor and Copic markers and colored the images before layering and adding brads. For the card base, I pulled out a Cuttlebug dots/spots embossing folder and ran each card through my Big Shot© before lightly sanding the embossed images. Before I added the layered images, I lightly stippled matching ink (eggplant envy, bliss blue, poppy red) over the embossed images and along the sides of the card. Once done, I adhered the layered image panels using glue dots then pulled out a few premade bows and attached them to the cards using mini glue dots. I'm pretty happy with how these turned out since I was once again crafting with a migraine. It was either craft to get my mind off the migraine (sort of) or cry because nothing was helping again. Close ups of each card are below:</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNB6mttkYJklCcaNYGUms609Sca8Lby_wf0bBet8Nf-HdypcejgGMLxy_l4c4EZ4LmOD_MqPyJZHdpjnyTdzsi5giGaX-Ax4SnZgH3WszBG5yBkqw45sNiKgmj5o5fsK_8y_qUNpMYaPSymG41OHhmVcJaBIwCii0eBz7Y_VFOtRcYpoBhWHzPjFumKCKV/s700/GSD%20Blue%20Dot%20Egg%20watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; Today begins a new challenge over at <a href="http://pammiesinkypinkieschallenges.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Pammie's Inky Pinkies</a> and this week we're being sponsored by <a href="https://www.lawnfawn.com/" target="_blank">Lawn Fawn</a>. My project today is a cute little ATC made using the <a href="https://www.lawnfawn.com/products/cerealsly-awesome?_pos=1&_sid=a7c407b6d&_ss=r&variant=39458120040522" target="_blank">Cerealsly Awesome</a> and <a href="https://www.lawnfawn.com/products/hedgehugs?_pos=2&_sid=d7b068658&_ss=r&variant=896218013" target="_blank">Hedgehugs</a> sets.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by stamping my sayings, cereal and corner hearts in memento tuxedo black ink onto a white scrap panel left over from another project. After coloring the images using Copic markers, I stippled Tim Holtz <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-tattered-rose-tim20240.html" target="_blank">tattered rose</a> distress ink around to softly lighten the background using a <a href="https://pfstamps.com/collections/paper-pouncers" target="_blank">paper pouncer</a> before layering onto more scrap card stock. I then lightly color spritzed a regal rose marker then highlighted the corner hearts using a clear 3D glaze pen. The final touch was edging the bottom layer using the regal rose marker allowing some of the ink to "bleed over". Here's another view:<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-QZKyOXN2bDUM6bT9vVAtDqn0x-InLEbm0mNOC03E9yCruSekvTNnVeZEQTCZm1U3SUTAspiBClbkzF81xmMcdDKHZNpwTfnst4E8fdumcaeIS3Uvb7U-l796vBXgteYfwcuD9yKPkuZHEFWjb7eSRDuq8e2AYW3jTS0YOCbwYadPZpQWbsluFT1X0ew6/s700/PIP2410%202%20Lawn%20Fawn%20watermarked.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="700" data-original-width="675" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-QZKyOXN2bDUM6bT9vVAtDqn0x-InLEbm0mNOC03E9yCruSekvTNnVeZEQTCZm1U3SUTAspiBClbkzF81xmMcdDKHZNpwTfnst4E8fdumcaeIS3Uvb7U-l796vBXgteYfwcuD9yKPkuZHEFWjb7eSRDuq8e2AYW3jTS0YOCbwYadPZpQWbsluFT1X0ew6/s320/PIP2410%202%20Lawn%20Fawn%20watermarked.jpg" width="309" /></a><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/02/nbus-challenge-59.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #59 - Use Your NBUS</a> (cerealsly images)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. Today I have an art journal page I made, or at least my take on one, for the <a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/gecko-galz-monthly-gothic-challenge.html" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Monthly Goth</a> challenge and a few others too. When I saw the image we were to use for the challenge, it reminded me of Wednesday Adams from the Adams family. Now I've got the theme song going through my head. LOL </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by printing the image on Neenah white cardstock making sure to run a black prismacolor marker along the edges before layering and adding some pewter skull brads I found in my stash. I then distressed the edges a bit using a <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-paper-distresser-tts00370.html" target="_blank">distresser tool</a> before setting it aside. Taking a slate colored piece of card stock, I stamped two spiderwebs in memento tuxedo black ink from a long retired <i>Stampin Up</i> set called <i>Web Wishes</i> in the corners before taking a memento london fog cat eye ink pad and repeatedly stamped it around half of the page. Taking a <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-multi-shifter-stencils-dots-thsm01.html" target="_blank">Tim Holtz Dots</a> stencil, I stippled <i>Altenew</i> lava rock and moon rock inks over half of the page before taking the cat eye inks and "drawing" lines with the edges before adding my layered image using glue dots. I then added the <i>spooky</i> using some letter tiles I received in a destash box from a friend. I then stamped the "kooky" using a long retired My Favorite Things <i>Alphadots</i> set on scrap copic white card stock before punching the letters out using a 1/2 inch Marvy circle punch. I then punched out two more layers from more scrap grey card stock using Marvy 1" and 1 1/2" circle punches before layering everything. Once that was finished, I added the<i> </i>"kooky" letters using glue dots then highlighted the letters using a white 3D glaze pen. Dusting off my prima flowers, I selected black and purple flowers to add using glue dots before adding black bling to the centers. I then pulled out the bat and spider brads from the same pack I found the skull ones in and added them to my page. The final touches were two punched bats that I "softened up" using a soft Staples© mouse pad and an dry embossing stylus, added them using micro glue dots and then added some purple bling to the "bodies". Then I adhered my finished page to my art journal book using 1/2 inch Scor-Tape.<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/gecko-galz-monthly-gothic-challenge.html" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Monthly Goth Challenge - March Anything Goes Using Provided Image</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/03/nbus-challenge-60.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #60 - Use Your NBUS</a> (Gecko Galz image, spooky chipboard letters, skull/bat/spider brads)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://cdsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/cd-sunday-plus-challenge-128-hosted-by.html" target="_blank">CD Sunday Plus #128 - Anything Goes Digital</a> (Gecko Galz image)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://creativeartistemixedmedia.blogspot.com/2024/03/welcome-to-creative-artiste-challenge.html" target="_blank">Creative Artiste Mixed Media #102 - Anything Mixed Media Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://creativefingerschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2024/03/challenge-273.html" target="_blank">Creative Fingers #273 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://creativeinspirationchallenges.blogspot.com/2024/02/creative-inspiration-challenges-12.html" target="_blank">Creative Inspiration #12 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://thecraftyaddicts.blogspot.com/2024/03/challenge-11.html" target="_blank">The Crafty Addicts #11 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgjJSAAMwPhwsIwhuPpgSgSVyfRnUHz9E3j6Irfry1-TScyn9gGV1sLr3ykCpWbwaMsXo1kHxoJeQe0qzphBgkh489ors6knkL-YLYxL3nU49dx4Gc1WWxcr9hFIIcdq_POp7rTwK90XMsrP8LfQV8XNp5Q8jWmcloWvdc-04akYpDnQesDdE5N7uVUNmN/s320/43A505B4-D2E8-4B8D-B71F-C17ADC57D15F.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="320" data-original-width="320" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgjJSAAMwPhwsIwhuPpgSgSVyfRnUHz9E3j6Irfry1-TScyn9gGV1sLr3ykCpWbwaMsXo1kHxoJeQe0qzphBgkh489ors6knkL-YLYxL3nU49dx4Gc1WWxcr9hFIIcdq_POp7rTwK90XMsrP8LfQV8XNp5Q8jWmcloWvdc-04akYpDnQesDdE5N7uVUNmN/w200-h200/43A505B4-D2E8-4B8D-B71F-C17ADC57D15F.jpeg" width="200" /></a></div></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><br /> </b>Thanks for stopping by today. Second post from me today. To see my Stained Glass Mushroom card, please scroll down one post. For this post, I'd like to share a card made using the free newsletter digital image from <a href="https://gsd-stamps.com/" target="_blank">Gerda Steiner Designs</a> called <a href="https://gsd-stamps.com/collections/shop-digital-stamps/products/st-patricks-day-digital-stamp" target="_blank">St. Patrick's Day Cat and Hat</a>. </div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;">I started off by printing the image onto Neenah white card stock then colored using both prismacolor and copic markers then layered and added brads. For my card base, I pulled out a Recollections© All Seasons paper pad I've had in my stash for who knows how long. After selecting my designer paper, I adhered it to a white card base before adding my layered image panel. Today I'd like to share with you another card made using a couple of <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/geckogalz" target="_blank">Gecko Galz</a> digital products: <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1686238741/stained-glass-beauty-digital-collage-set?click_key=37ce914f72ce64e926fd233b601b1325e095fa03%3A1686238741&click_sum=f3949a08&ga_search_query=stained&ref=shop_items_search_1&pro=1" target="_blank">Stained Glass Beauty</a> and their free digital paper pack <i>Let That Shitake Go</i> when you spend $10 in the shop this month. Now that's a win win in my book.</div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by cutting out the mushroom panel from the <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1686238741/stained-glass-beauty-digital-collage-set?click_key=37ce914f72ce64e926fd233b601b1325e095fa03%3A1686238741&click_sum=f3949a08&ga_search_query=stained&ref=shop_items_search_1&pro=1" target="_blank">Stained Glass Beauty,</a> layered it on scrap card stock, and added some red mini brads before setting aside. Taking one of the the <i>Let That Shitake Go</i>, I printed it as a 4x6 panel before adhering it to a black A2 card base. After I added a strip of scrap black card stock, I then adhered the stained glass panel at an angle using glue dots. The final touches were a small red bow and some poinsettia dew drops from my stash. I'm really pleased with how this turned out since my migraine is not going away, even though the concussion issues have mostly resolved. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/2024/03/march-challengemagical-mushrooms.html" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Monthly Customer Challenge March 2024 - Magical Mushrooms</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/splitcoast-challenges-40/useit2024-646042/" target="_blank">Splitcoaststampers USEIT2024 - Use Your Unloved Stash</a> (dew drops, bow)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://digichoosday.blogspot.com/2024/03/wk-9-anything-goes-card-making-craft.html" target="_blank">Digi Choosday Wk9 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://creativeinspirationchallenges.blogspot.com/2024/02/creative-inspiration-challenges-12.html" target="_blank">Creative Inspiration #12 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><a href="https://www.simplyellibelle.com/2024/03/ellibelles-crafty-wednesday-march.html" target="_blank"><b>Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday March - Anything Goes</b></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/03/nbus-challenge-60.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #60 - Use Your NBUS</a> (digital paper, mushroom image) <br /></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiniSpM8-2SENe_U_dlemtsY37XT0q_vgpuj8ZTar2MbE2OailvxxScAws3qyLQSsS-dbLpVZnMNqLaFeUHVWbj5mGGWVMG3srhJyWG_7BuT0ADrtcK6N4jON957-VUS-WrDIQQEqZJHogAui2LJ71OS-s-IqpeLohBN-cIEDKU47baDCaOJ4dQUDEfwKNw/s640/Magical%20Mushrooms.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="450" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiniSpM8-2SENe_U_dlemtsY37XT0q_vgpuj8ZTar2MbE2OailvxxScAws3qyLQSsS-dbLpVZnMNqLaFeUHVWbj5mGGWVMG3srhJyWG_7BuT0ADrtcK6N4jON957-VUS-WrDIQQEqZJHogAui2LJ71OS-s-IqpeLohBN-cIEDKU47baDCaOJ4dQUDEfwKNw/w141-h200/Magical%20Mushrooms.jpg" width="141" /></a></div></b><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Gecko Galz</b><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOAJxG_MZaWpA1oab-THxjLI1lF3VFfiYdGu19bIAqGFiwoo_-u4DyP328eTy8eoPP1YVIPGKJOnor5V2MEZRVofrNvtOzQjlQ-aPVnW6fPY7yp6-HSRPJPWl6JdNIUetD7lO-tfU_nnIcpGZkmFBCGBaFqX59aqnwN9k25DWiHuuxt4EMaXEKFefdPC5K/s320/43A505B4-D2E8-4B8D-B71F-C17ADC57D15F.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="320" data-original-width="320" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOAJxG_MZaWpA1oab-THxjLI1lF3VFfiYdGu19bIAqGFiwoo_-u4DyP328eTy8eoPP1YVIPGKJOnor5V2MEZRVofrNvtOzQjlQ-aPVnW6fPY7yp6-HSRPJPWl6JdNIUetD7lO-tfU_nnIcpGZkmFBCGBaFqX59aqnwN9k25DWiHuuxt4EMaXEKFefdPC5K/w200-h200/43A505B4-D2E8-4B8D-B71F-C17ADC57D15F.jpeg" width="200" /></a></div></b><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Creative Inspiration</b><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. I then added the Irish dancer panel using glue dots and added a light green Prima flower. Taking my shamrock Martha Stewart punch, I punched a scrap of old olive to make my shamrock, before pouncing some old olive ink over the shamrock. This concussion stuff is no joke I'm finding out.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by trimming down to size one of the <i>Blarny</i> images then pairing it with some scrap green card stock before adding brads and setting aside. I then cut down to size one of the <i>It's not being green</i> digital papers, then adhered it to a garden green card. Taking my layered image panel, I then added it using glue dots before adding some green primas with bling centers. The final touch was lightly color spritzing a garden green marker over the main image. As an afterthought, I ran a fingernail along the edges of my layered image panel to distress it a bit.<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1811298739275843&type=3" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Facebook March 2024 - March Madness</a> (lots of green, St Patrick's Day)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://thefourseasonschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/spring-season-march-2024-challenge.html" target="_blank">The Four Seasons March 2024 - See Inspiration Pic</a> (inspired by the clover)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/03/nbus-challenge-60.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #60 - Use Your NBUS</a> (Blarny digital pack)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/splitcoast-challenges-40/useit2024-646042/" target="_blank">Splitcoaststampers USEIT2024 - Use Your Unloved Stash</a> (primas, bling)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://inspirationstationchallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/inspiration-station-march-2024.html" target="_blank">Inspiration Station #59 - March 2024 See Pic</a> (inspired by green skirts, St Patrick's parade)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://cdsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/cd-sunday-plus-challenge-128-hosted-by.html" target="_blank">CD Sunday Plus #128 - Anything Goes Digital</a> (image, papers)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/2024/02/sos516-its-not-easy-being-green.html" target="_blank">Shopping Our Stash #516 - It's Not Easy Being Green</a> (image, papers, flowers, bling) </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://digichoosday.blogspot.com/2024/03/wk-9-anything-goes-card-making-craft.html" target="_blank">Digi Choosday Wk 9 - Anything Goes</a><br /></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Today I'd like to share with you a card made using a couple of sets from <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/geckogalz" target="_blank">Gecko Galz</a>. I sure thankful for Gecko Galz's pre-colored images. It sure makes creating with a migraine, or concussion, easier so I don't go stir crazy. The blogging is much harder right now. The images/kits I used are their gorgeous <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1686238741/stained-glass-beauty-digital-collage-set?click_key=bbea940853b3d12aad230be9cb443dbf6cd6fb55%3A1686238741&click_sum=0d1bb747&ga_search_query=stained&ref=shop_items_search_1&pro=1" target="_blank">Stained Glass Beauty</a> and <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/217547466/its-not-easy-being-green-digital-paper?click_key=e0415284943c986984bf7ab2ecdb118766baf9f3%3A217547466&click_sum=b8720252&ga_search_query=it%2526%252339%253Bs%2Bnot%2Beasy%2Bbeing%2Bgreen&ref=shop_items_search_1&pro=1" target="_blank">It's Not Easy Being Green</a> digital paper pack. The stained glass reminds me so much of my late uncle who used to make stained glass pieces to sell/give as gifts. So, Uncle Dave, this is in your memory.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by cutting the background paper to size before dry embossing it using a Cuttlebug© Moroccan screen embossing folder in my Big Shot©. Once that was done, I adhered it to a green base card and slightly sanded the embossing images to "rough it up a bit". Taking the stained glass collage, I cut the shamrock one to size, adhering it to green/black card stock scraps then added brads. Once that was finished, I adhered the layered image to the card using glue dots, then added some light green Prima flowers I've had in my stash for years. The final touches were a light green rhinestone to the center of the flowers/shamrock, a small green bow and some Tim Holtz <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-mowed-lawn-tim35008.html" target="_blank">mowed lawn</a> distress ink sponged along the edges.<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.420975210446333&type=3" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Facebook Challenge - Monochromatic</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/03/nbus-challenge-60.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #60 - Use Your NBUS</a> (image, digital paper)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://thefourseasonschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/spring-season-march-2024-challenge.html" target="_blank">The Four Seasons March 2024 - See Inspiration Pic</a> (inspired by the clover)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://inspirationstationchallenge.blogspot.com/2024/03/inspiration-station-march-2024.html" target="_blank">Inspiration Station March 2024 - See Pic</a> (inspired by St Patty's parade)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/2024/02/sos516-its-not-easy-being-green.html" target="_blank">Shopping Our Stash #516 - It's Not Easy Being Green</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVV6AgvzKtcARcHM8TyQX3BaF0uO08o3veDUIiaBmZPo7UjNMKEGMhGcxLMfSUlQetRu-z8zK-i2_yM_2GW2wu8yLIGj7TABzmlGGsun83smBPqptDt1ETV7bgG_mFDMZhQ7C29TpHE1k315JZ7E4dYhyphenhyphenVyrZYKWBTJhwgwwfco0VtJus8mGz_vHnzn-BN/s2048/Photo%20Mar%2001%202024,%2010%2042%2059%20AM%20(3)%20(1).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVV6AgvzKtcARcHM8TyQX3BaF0uO08o3veDUIiaBmZPo7UjNMKEGMhGcxLMfSUlQetRu-z8zK-i2_yM_2GW2wu8yLIGj7TABzmlGGsun83smBPqptDt1ETV7bgG_mFDMZhQ7C29TpHE1k315JZ7E4dYhyphenhyphenVyrZYKWBTJhwgwwfco0VtJus8mGz_vHnzn-BN/w200-h200/Photo%20Mar%2001%202024,%2010%2042%2059%20AM%20(3)%20(1).jpg" width="200" /></a></div></b><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Gecko Galz Facebook</b><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b> </b><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCPp5Ggq4Yh7IrEBZ9t8iCqpAYUXxyvMTdN7shGaLcfLEpp3nH-qO-2ZqGeFqYojlypl0F6iAsiRxKpJEDadd5dQXQ4XMms4-0UK5TnGljzdlMxFy8t6CjwRfkv3PETXvxkrT4H4qT8SInMqEGdR-3gWjtAoMaJtIgwmBjtn7Ja8Thgec4bm62uCrEh6FO/s400/Four%20Seasons%20Spring%2024.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="304" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCPp5Ggq4Yh7IrEBZ9t8iCqpAYUXxyvMTdN7shGaLcfLEpp3nH-qO-2ZqGeFqYojlypl0F6iAsiRxKpJEDadd5dQXQ4XMms4-0UK5TnGljzdlMxFy8t6CjwRfkv3PETXvxkrT4H4qT8SInMqEGdR-3gWjtAoMaJtIgwmBjtn7Ja8Thgec4bm62uCrEh6FO/w152-h200/Four%20Seasons%20Spring%2024.jpg" width="152" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><div style="text-align: center;"><b>The Four Seasons</b><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_O2C6GeCCPEnMFTNSOEKmYnHDI0HnEaletlmQkCGyuFddmpcsJDJQkNu_UCGHsBS1BE1VPaBvY4mlpgP6hQSvzgfk-czLOnLV6H-kfH6OtKUPhUlkTbrwNyam9mPO24T7lqNSOIQnWY4PLQEEsEgZf30CzMWRMgjVWoHQPub4TyoPMctFYj7jSG3RRM1M/s400/Inspiration%20Station%20March%202024.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="377" data-original-width="400" height="189" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_O2C6GeCCPEnMFTNSOEKmYnHDI0HnEaletlmQkCGyuFddmpcsJDJQkNu_UCGHsBS1BE1VPaBvY4mlpgP6hQSvzgfk-czLOnLV6H-kfH6OtKUPhUlkTbrwNyam9mPO24T7lqNSOIQnWY4PLQEEsEgZf30CzMWRMgjVWoHQPub4TyoPMctFYj7jSG3RRM1M/w200-h189/Inspiration%20Station%20March%202024.jpg" width="200" /></a></div></b><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Inspiration Station</b><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. and welcome. Today I'd like to share a card I had started a couple
weeks ago and finally finished. I'll have to say that this concussion
is really kicking my butt cutting into my mojo. Fortunately, I was able
to just assemble the card and not have to focus on coloring right now.<div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by printing the <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/634843401/fly-free-collage-sheet?click_key=0d946b43a2a1587766ef7a5ef6c9dce43cef20d4%3A634843401&click_sum=6b0f2577&ga_search_query=fly%2Bfree&ref=shop_items_search_1&pro=1" target="_blank">Fly Free</a> collage sheet, from <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/geckogalz?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=634843401&from_page=listing" target="_blank">Gecko Galz</a>,
on Neenah white card stock before cutting out the pre-colored image I
had wanted to use. Once I had cut down the image, I ran a bliss blue
marker along the edges before distressing it using my <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-paper-distresser-tts00370.html" target="_blank">paper distresser</a>
over the marker making sure to do the same with the rose romance and
bliss blue layers before adding brads. The card base is stamped using a
retired Stampin Up <i>Ephemera</i> background, stamped using bashful blue ink, with the <i>watch collage</i>
from <a href="https://www.rubbernecker.com/default.asp" target="_blank">Rubbernecker Stamps</a> lightly stamped over using bliss blue ink. After adding ink to the
edges of my card base, I added the layered image panel using glue dots
before adding a blue lace bow and a blue button I've had in my stash for
years. The final touch was spritzing a bit of mint melody marker over
the entire card.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1158909075518617&type=3" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Facebook Feb 2024 - Color Challenge</a> (see below pic)<br /></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1063315044783579&type=3" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Facebook Feb 2024 - Things With Wings</a> (birds)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/02/nbus-challenge-59.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #59 - Use Your NBUS</a> (bird image, doily)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://digichoosday.blogspot.com/2024/02/wk-8-anything-goes-card-making-craft.html" target="_blank">Digi Choosday Wk 8 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="http://everybody-art-challenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/552.html" target="_blank">Everybody Art Challenge #552 - Favorite Colors</a> (blue, pink, mint) </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/?p=34330" target="_blank">Simon Says Stamp Monday - Fur or Feathers</a> (feathers/birds)<br /></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><b><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6XuNVkq53u7vTtD0eI7Ls9G4jdx2lRDP_G9FgeR22Wxr6R9pDTmOFckGkjDbJteKUF5PcjAM5SEiXZPChK6MUt5MvIgF2STd19P7dna88r2ls-dQYGti2tVpeemn_jGR_YrtvtJthHk3Bw00KIVD73fVhaY9Q2ue8s-I_Vn9eGzvpzXjinrPHgxK0VVA/s1222/GG%20Facebook%20Feb%20color%20challenge.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1222" data-original-width="1222" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6XuNVkq53u7vTtD0eI7Ls9G4jdx2lRDP_G9FgeR22Wxr6R9pDTmOFckGkjDbJteKUF5PcjAM5SEiXZPChK6MUt5MvIgF2STd19P7dna88r2ls-dQYGti2tVpeemn_jGR_YrtvtJthHk3Bw00KIVD73fVhaY9Q2ue8s-I_Vn9eGzvpzXjinrPHgxK0VVA/w200-h200/GG%20Facebook%20Feb%20color%20challenge.jpg" width="200" /></a></div> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheezmsKh-ELu4wLUU7P09VnJkr1Zo1eUlnZYKnpXaGplHOcrye5Pw_bbsdfPpeFSVFKKW6gv9lVux75th28eJVSNTHEEH9bdUOD83Iwx1Q3TzqXVt4a3L-suS4Tr851RWY7nQAm6fDBWN3VSCpyDxZs0ZdAbl8w-NZTzZvu06ZBN0TzWYxQrleAFSkmJ7v/s1222/GG%20Facebook%20Feb%20wings%20challenge.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1222" data-original-width="1222" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheezmsKh-ELu4wLUU7P09VnJkr1Zo1eUlnZYKnpXaGplHOcrye5Pw_bbsdfPpeFSVFKKW6gv9lVux75th28eJVSNTHEEH9bdUOD83Iwx1Q3TzqXVt4a3L-suS4Tr851RWY7nQAm6fDBWN3VSCpyDxZs0ZdAbl8w-NZTzZvu06ZBN0TzWYxQrleAFSkmJ7v/w200-h200/GG%20Facebook%20Feb%20wings%20challenge.jpg" width="200" /></a></div></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. This post will be short. I had a bad fall one week ago trying to kill a mosquito. I remember reaching up over my head to smash it between my hands, then the next thing I knew I was in free fall until the back of my head connected with the floor. I apparently fell head first into the fireplace hearth where the front of my head connected with the fireplace, then backwards until I landed on the floor. My husband says he thinks I also hit the TV table with the back of my head before landing on the floor where my hip connected with the bottom corner of the hearth. Let's just say....I hurt...STILL! I'm still really bruised/sore on the front of my head and my right hip. The rest of the update is below:</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3t2lV4uAuVlxpcIgvtfdn3ojIGCTWf3VoHQHRZ6k4ICreuapVUGs8cdz-FHDmbznfc5nxXlLBF3H-y2-_0MkVLFNL-yOqVxK3SyfRsi0RGtby7SD3Yss1GlwqnLQI6BMAEXlpqYRUjepqMWeBD7XiKm7uQTS7K2ktBKRqhNaKaWEu0G6ifcnS-v_UTzFf/s4000/h3Y7%20(1).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2670" data-original-width="4000" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3t2lV4uAuVlxpcIgvtfdn3ojIGCTWf3VoHQHRZ6k4ICreuapVUGs8cdz-FHDmbznfc5nxXlLBF3H-y2-_0MkVLFNL-yOqVxK3SyfRsi0RGtby7SD3Yss1GlwqnLQI6BMAEXlpqYRUjepqMWeBD7XiKm7uQTS7K2ktBKRqhNaKaWEu0G6ifcnS-v_UTzFf/w400-h268/h3Y7%20(1).jpg" width="400" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;">I will be hit and miss with posting, as well as creating cards/projects until the exacerbated migraine, and concussion issues, get better. <br /><br /></div>Bonnie Lynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09673546730376681154noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2637829632586874578.post-14252798566462509762024-02-26T00:00:00.000-08:002024-02-26T14:11:56.037-08:00PIP Challenge 2408 <div style="text-align: left;"> <div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Sponsored by</span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.janmahew.com/" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: large;">Jan's Digi Stamps</span></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfJIknZlw6D5lfZP2YpkCQukSXHtaUc2Wv1meEXCs4uJvxLX6MhHMTgUlKsRiHFPbKDN-1XQkDLwRyZF_x7EzY2mSxCv8vNe6X9SuM6ttR5gPopf2eOciRFEXIc2r1DrSMK4tTwi-aRGI/s1600/Jan%2527s+Digi+Stamps.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: large;"><img border="0" data-original-height="212" data-original-width="400" height="169" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfJIknZlw6D5lfZP2YpkCQukSXHtaUc2Wv1meEXCs4uJvxLX6MhHMTgUlKsRiHFPbKDN-1XQkDLwRyZF_x7EzY2mSxCv8vNe6X9SuM6ttR5gPopf2eOciRFEXIc2r1DrSMK4tTwi-aRGI/s320/Jan%2527s+Digi+Stamps.jpg" width="320" /></span></a></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNXrDAJwmgvjbKB93beEj9YEIk7xCMNMO10g8GMELoBycFvU-lNDUtQmYbccV6mKoEt3_fatZzv2mm9QHHwA73DKTk-bUHiUng95RTbirzyGwxFwCY4A6eNlbxyhnkcphbbkQ7yhJwMrHmLrQUj9XcAk3VnvLXoYWwKQ8sse8B4aHlV6YXM-urzmtnj-YT/s700/PIP2408%20Jans%20Digital%20Stamps.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="469" data-original-width="700" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNXrDAJwmgvjbKB93beEj9YEIk7xCMNMO10g8GMELoBycFvU-lNDUtQmYbccV6mKoEt3_fatZzv2mm9QHHwA73DKTk-bUHiUng95RTbirzyGwxFwCY4A6eNlbxyhnkcphbbkQ7yhJwMrHmLrQUj9XcAk3VnvLXoYWwKQ8sse8B4aHlV6YXM-urzmtnj-YT/s320/PIP2408%20Jans%20Digital%20Stamps.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Hello and welcome. Today begins a new challenge over at <a href="http://pammiesinkypinkieschallenges.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Pammie's Inky Pinkies</a> and this week we're being sponsored by <a href="https://www.janmahew.com/" target="_blank">Jan's Digital Stamps</a>. I would like to thank Jan for her sponsorship for this weeks challenge. I made two cards for this week's challenge using Jan's <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/1268965429/sleigh-ride-digital-stamp-set-instant?click_key=7cf904ea95885c2cb4f9e61995c02e58a0d61948%3A1268965429&click_sum=565f215c&ga_search_query=sleigh%2Bride&ref=shop_items_search_1" target="_blank">Sleigh Ride</a> digital set for both of them.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by combining the sleigh, tree and sayings using Photoshop Elements before printing both combined images on Neenah white card stock. Taking my Ranger <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/mini-domed-ink-blending-foam-ibt77176.html" target="_blank">mini blending foams</a> and <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/ranger-mini-ink-blending-tool-ibt40965.html" target="_blank">mini ink blending tools</a>, I started stippling/blending Tim Holtz <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-stormy-sky-tim27171.html" target="_blank">stormy sky</a>, <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-tumbled-glass-tim27188.html" target="_blank">tumbled glass</a>, <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-chipped-sapphire-tim27119.html" target="_blank">chipped sapphire</a> and <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-picket-fence-tim40781.html" target="_blank">picket fence</a> distress inks before layering and adding silver brads. For the card base, I rolled a long retired Stampin Up poinsettia jumbo wheel in <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-fired-brick-tim20202.html" target="_blank">fired brick</a> distress ink before adhering my layered image using glue dots. I then added some white/silver bakers twine from my stash, a long forgotten snowflake charm and then diamond ice stickles to highlight "snow mounds" and "snowflakes" to finish the card off. As an afterthought, I grabbed the <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-fired-brick-tim20202.html" target="_blank">fired brick</a> ink pad and added the color using the direct-to-paper technique.<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtqDxDRdVTy0pHZWNHUuWmSNMyBryTmn8x7NQ_soG3uQjM89aPf4_uLgHEKyh1ItMLBTPDNuQaraVeJ6H11bCPCAyK_q9d6_VC5zfq5gVKRY4snbGljYWdMIeBtGLZRgWjdRM4XIeAqSFWxWQwhUbvtPihG_vawBJ5PF9MUzPC55CCBCCBBLkAQeSeR6wz/s700/PIP2408%202%20Jans%20Digital%20Stamps.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="448" data-original-width="700" height="205" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtqDxDRdVTy0pHZWNHUuWmSNMyBryTmn8x7NQ_soG3uQjM89aPf4_uLgHEKyh1ItMLBTPDNuQaraVeJ6H11bCPCAyK_q9d6_VC5zfq5gVKRY4snbGljYWdMIeBtGLZRgWjdRM4XIeAqSFWxWQwhUbvtPihG_vawBJ5PF9MUzPC55CCBCCBBLkAQeSeR6wz/s320/PIP2408%202%20Jans%20Digital%20Stamps.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>My second card is a mini slimline with the same distress inks used only with a little heavier application of the <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-chipped-sapphire-tim27119.html" target="_blank">chipped sapphire</a> distress ink. After edging the side of the image panel using a retired Stampin Up night of navy marker, I layered the image before adding silver brads and running a <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-paper-distresser-tts00370.html" target="_blank">paper distresser</a> along the bottom layer to "rough it up a bit" before adhering it to a navy card base using pop up glue dots. Today I'd like to share a few ATC cards I made this last week in between "hibernating" thanks to this migraine that's kicking my butt and falling last night hitting my head. Personally I'm beginning to think "Mother Nature" is either drunk or is out to get me this winter. I can handle the rain but the wind, and temperature swings, that's been with these storms hitting my part of California is nothing to laugh at. However, I digress.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by printing the Gecko Galz ATC sheet found <a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/atc-monthly-challenge.html" target="_blank">here</a> out on Neenah white card stock before cutting out the photos that are included then layering them on to scrap card stock and adding brads from my stash. I then took the image panels, adhered them to the ATC layer, which is included as well, then layered on more scrap card stock. I kept my embellishments pretty simple - flowers, bow and a lace doily. I'm pretty pleased with how all three turned out. Here's the third one:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg15AdVyHW7cVG-78rHTgacOQghicSkyuq_qK0CIOZVN3l-aWcjyPZuWPIyC4Qq4PSb-733LGmQYpoEnbEjRa-HrIO0NIk9IPODnWVWaKCjfLrsAI3JseJ1AIJ_4FUCzpiyQKUgktXPQpfkwznOIFiOAHGO57IBrFqpXDFjCebiUjvxLNo2LPnUaHhfezHc/s700/GG%20Feb%202024%20ATC%20Snarky%20Valentine%202.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="700" data-original-width="584" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg15AdVyHW7cVG-78rHTgacOQghicSkyuq_qK0CIOZVN3l-aWcjyPZuWPIyC4Qq4PSb-733LGmQYpoEnbEjRa-HrIO0NIk9IPODnWVWaKCjfLrsAI3JseJ1AIJ_4FUCzpiyQKUgktXPQpfkwznOIFiOAHGO57IBrFqpXDFjCebiUjvxLNo2LPnUaHhfezHc/s320/GG%20Feb%202024%20ATC%20Snarky%20Valentine%202.jpg" width="267" /></a></div><p></p><div style="text-align: left;">The "no refund" card went to my husband for a belated Valentine's card/gift and I haven't figured out where I'm sending the other two yet.</div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/atc-monthly-challenge.html" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Monthly ATC Challenge - Feb 2024</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/02/nbus-challenge-59.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #59 - Use Your NBUS</a> (ATC sheet)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://cdsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/cd-sunday-plus-challenge-127-hosted-by.html" target="_blank">CD Sunday Plus #127 - Anything Goes Digital</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="http://lilpatchofcraftyfriends.blogspot.com/2024/02/224-beccys-place.html" target="_blank">Lil Patch of Crafty Friends #224 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://digichoosday.blogspot.com/2024/02/wk-6-anything-goes-card-making-craft.html" target="_blank">Digi Choosday Wk 6 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/2024/02/sos515-put-your-best-face-forward.html" target="_blank">Shopping Our Stash #515 - Put Your Best Face Forward</a> (Gecko Galz images)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="http://atcaroundtheworld.blogspot.com/2024/02/110-pastellfarben.html" target="_blank">ATC Around The World #110 - Pastel Colors</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> <br /></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. Today I'd like to share a goth style card made for the <a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/gecko-galz-monthly-gothic-challenge.html" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Monthly Goth</a> challenge using the provided image. I call it <i>Red and the Wolf </i>and the fact it's pre-colored is a bonus. Now, normally, Goth is NOT my type of challenge but I decided to get out of my comfort zone and give it a try. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by printing the image on Neenah white card stock before cutting down, edging the side with a basic grey marker, then layering and adding some tiny red brads before setting the layered image aside. I then took a basic grey card, dry embossed it using a Cuttlebug spiderweb embossing folder and my big shot before lightly stippling basic grey ink over the embossed web. Once I added my layered image panel using glue dots, some grey/red fibers along with clay flowers with ice stickle centers finished my card off.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/gecko-galz-monthly-gothic-challenge.html" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Monthly Goth Challenges - Feb 2024</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/02/nbus-challenge-59.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #59 - Use Your NBUS</a> (image)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://cyhtp.blogspot.com/2024/02/february-10th-2024-anything-goes-with.html" target="_blank">Can You Handle The Pressure Feb 10 2024 - Anything Goes Embossing Optional Used Reds or Pinks</a> (anything goes spiderweb embossing folder, red accents)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://creativefingerschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2024/02/challenge-271.html" target="_blank">Creative Fingers #271 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/2024/02/sos515-put-your-best-face-forward.html" target="_blank">Shopping Our Stash #515 - Put Your Best Face Forward</a> (Red's face) <br /></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. I have another project for you using the free pre-colored digital stamp from <a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Gecko Galz</a> for their monthly <a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/gecko-galz-monthly-christmas-challenge.html" target="_blank">Christmas Challenge</a> only this time, I've made some ATC's (artist trading cards) to use up some of the scraps that were still on my desk. Now, I don't normally make ATC's but decided to give another shot at them. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started off by printing off the images wallet size on a full sheet of Neenah white card stock before cutting down to size then layering on scrap white/navy card stock from my scrap bin. The only embellishments added are small silver brads and then diamond/waterfall ice stickles to highlight parts of the snow. Easy peasy am I right? I'm happy with how my ATC's turned out.<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/gecko-galz-monthly-christmas-challenge.html" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Monthly Christmas Challenge - Feb 2024 Anything Goes Using Provided Image</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="http://craftyanimals.blogspot.com/2024/02/challenge-80.html" target="_blank">Crafty Animals #80 - Anything Goes Animals</a> (dogs, cats, reindeer)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://2craftycrittercrazies.blogspot.com/2024/02/challenge-83-anything-goes-with.html" target="_blank">Critter Crazy #83 - Anything Goes Featuring A Critter</a> (dogs, cats, reindeer)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://merrylittlechristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/01/mlccb-54-anything-christmas-goes-mlccb.html" target="_blank">Merry Little Christmas Challenge #54 - Anything Goes Christmas</a> (made ATC's)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://pinkgemchallengeblog.blogspot.com/2024/02/wk-3-anything-goes-card-making-paper.html" target="_blank">Gem Of A Craft Wk 3 - Anything Goes</a> (ATC's)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. I have a cute little Christmas card I made using scrap card stock and a free digital image from <a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/gecko-galz-monthly-christmas-challenge.html" target="_blank">Gecko Galz</a> to use in their Christmas challenge. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by printing the image on a full sheet of Neenah white card stock as a wallet size picture before trimming down and layering on scrap white/navy card stock. I then added some silver brads and set aside to work on the card base. Taking an 11 inch scrap, I folded it in half before embossing it using a Cuttlebug© snowflake embossing folder and my Big Shot©. I then used a color spritzer and a navy Stampin Up marker to spritz navy ink over the embossed images before adding my layered image using glue dots. After adding a small navy bow, I ran the navy marker along the outside edges to finish it off.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/gecko-galz-monthly-christmas-challenge.html" target="_blank">Gecko Galz Monthly Christmas Challenge - Anything Goes Using The Provided Image</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/02/nbus-challenge-59.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #59 Feb 2024 - Use Your NBUS</a> (image)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://cdsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/cd-sunday-plus-challenge-126-hosted-by.html" target="_blank">CD Sunday Plus #126 - Anything Goes Digital</a> (image)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://thehollyandivychristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/anything-christmas-goes.html" target="_blank">The Holly and Ivy Christmas Feb 2024 - Anything Goes Christmas</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://kraftychickschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/krafty-chicks-challenge-702-christmas.html" target="_blank">Krafty Chicks #702 - Christmas</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. Today I'd like to share a couple of sympathy cards I needed to make to send out. I decided to use a set I had received from a friend when she had to give up stamping. The set is from <a href="https://www.coloradocraftcompany.com/" target="_blank">Colorado Craft Company</a> and is called <a href="https://www.coloradocraftcompany.com/product-page/ll202-lovely-legs-sympathy" target="_blank">Sympathy</a> from their <a href="https://www.coloradocraftcompany.com/lovely-legs" target="_blank">Lovely Legs</a> collection.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by stamping the images/saying in memento tuxedo black onto Copic white card stock and then colored using <a href="https://castlearts.com/collections/watercolor-pencil-sets" target="_blank">Castle Arts watercolor pencils</a> and a blender pencil. Once my coloring was finished, I stippled Tim Holtz <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=stormy+sky&x=0&y=0" target="_blank">stormy sky</a> distress ink around the colored images using my <a href="https://pfstamps.com/collections/paper-pouncers" target="_blank">paper pouncer</a> before layering and adding brads. Taking the layered images, I distressed the edges using my <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-paper-distresser-tts00370.html" target="_blank">paper distresser</a> before adhering to a black card using pop up glue dots. The final touches were a little doodling in the corners using a black gel pen and then adding waterfall ice stickles to the water/raindrops. I have a hard time making sympathy cards so I'm really happy these turned out better than I had envisioned.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/02/nbus-challenge-59.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #59 - Use Your NBUS </a>(images/saying)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/inspiration-88/ic949-realfabric-com-feb-10th-2024-a-646269/#post22303198" target="_blank">Splitcoaststampers IC949 - Real Fabric</a> (see inspiration pic)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="http://wordartwednesday.blogspot.com/2024/01/anything-goes-weeks-623-624.html" target="_blank">Word Art Wednesday Wks 623 and 624 - Anything Goes Uplifting</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/faith-based-challenges-232/2024-divine-design-bible-verse-challenge-646056/" target="_blank">Splitcoaststampers Divine Design 2024 - Anything Goes Faith Based</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://creativefingerschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2024/02/challenge-271.html" target="_blank">Creative Fingers #271 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC2f1AXAlkCLfW_Sc5qpG61C4cng8Ckm6PTy-_ihflN8MebAwWA0Zyk3qM_JsjOTxHJU3a4YhrJxgQMKNdLQIuEuc1VEqxTsshJRw2fSg1GbvgTye7EOTs_UzFDad9Wu1IuCl6FNEHc5NqiPUjTLNChhTtcJdVqiAOyINifa6JcwX_zqgCr66W2Rnz8nkV/s736/IC949%20Real%20Fabric%20Raindrops.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="736" data-original-width="736" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC2f1AXAlkCLfW_Sc5qpG61C4cng8Ckm6PTy-_ihflN8MebAwWA0Zyk3qM_JsjOTxHJU3a4YhrJxgQMKNdLQIuEuc1VEqxTsshJRw2fSg1GbvgTye7EOTs_UzFDad9Wu1IuCl6FNEHc5NqiPUjTLNChhTtcJdVqiAOyINifa6JcwX_zqgCr66W2Rnz8nkV/w200-h200/IC949%20Real%20Fabric%20Raindrops.jpg" width="200" /></a></div></b><div style="text-align: center;"><b><a href="https://www.pinterest.com/pin/780459810421627906/" target="_blank">Real Fabric Raindrops</a></b><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. Today I'd like to share a card made using an embossing folder/die set I received as a RAK last year that I've finally gotten a chance to use (NBUS). </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by using the wood grain embossing folder, and my big shot, to dry emboss an espresso card panel then stippled some Tim Holtz <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-walnut-stain-tim19534.html" target="_blank">walnut stain</a> distress over the raised images using my <a href="https://pfstamps.com/collections/paper-pouncers" target="_blank">paper pouncers</a>. I then layered the embossed layer, added brads and distressed the edges using my Tim Holtz <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-paper-distresser-tts00370.html" target="_blank">paper distresser</a> then adhered the layered panel to a espresso card base using glue dots. Taking several snippets/scraps of card stock from my stash, I then die cut the wreath, leaves and flowers. Once again taking my paper pouncers, I stippled Tim Holtz <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-tattered-rose-tim20240.html" target="_blank">tattered rose</a>, <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-mowed-lawn-tim35008.html" target="_blank">mowed lawn</a>, and <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-frayed-burlap-tim21469.html" target="_blank">frayed burlap</a> distress inks until I was satisfied with the coverage, then I adhered everything using my <a href="https://bearly.art/products/bearly-art-precision-craft-glue-4-fl-oz" target="_blank">Bearly Art</a> glue. At this point, I felt I needed a few more flowers, so I dug out my pre-punched hydrangea's and selected a few of those, and adhered them after stippling more tattered rose ink on them. The final touches are a pink satin bow and some <i>Stampendous</i> bling stickers I've had for <i>YEARS</i> in the center of the flowers. The extra blank space underneath the wreath will have a saying added when I decide what I want there. The whole card, and die cutting, was fairly easy to do even with a migraine (still).<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/02/nbus-challenge-59.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff #59 - Use Your NBUS</a> (embossing folder, dies)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/splitcoast-challenges-40/useit2024-646042/" target="_blank">Splitcoaststampers USEIT2027 - Use Your Unloved Stash</a> (Stampendous stickers) </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://pixiessnippetsplayground.blogspot.com/2024/02/challenge-473.html" target="_blank">Snippets Playground #473 - Use Those Snippets/Scraps</a> (wreath, flowers)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://beautifulblossomschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/01/beautiful-blossoms-challenge-anything.html" target="_blank">Beautiful Blossoms #13 - Anything Goes Blossoms Optional Mood Board</a> (anything goes flowers)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://dd-tripleb.blogspot.com/2024/02/february-2024-challenge.html" target="_blank">Triple B Feb 2024 - Anything Goes Birds, Blooms, Butterflies</a> (blooms)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="http://paperfundaychallenges.blogspot.com/2024/02/february-2024-challenge-62-anything.html" target="_blank">Paper Funday #62 Feb 2024 - Anything Goes Optional No Pattern Paper</a> (anything goes)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. Today I'd like to share a card I made using a set from <a href="https://therabbitholedesigns.com/" target="_blank">The Rabbit Hole Designs</a> and embossing folder from Momenta that I received as gifts. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by embossing a basic gray card using the wood grain embossing folder from Momenta then stippling Tim Holtz <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-weathered-wood-tim20257.html" target="_blank">weathered wood</a> distress ink over the embossed images. Next, I stamped the racoon, and sayings, in memento tuxedo black ink then colored it using both prismacolor and copic markers. Once my coloring was finished, I stippled some Stampin Up going grey (retired) ink around the racoon using my <a href="https://pfstamps.com/collections/paper-pouncers" target="_blank">paper pouncers</a>. I then layered the colored image, added brads and using a <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-paper-distresser-tts00370.html" target="_blank">paper distresser</a>, I distressed the bottom panel of the layered image. After adhering it using some pop up glue dots, I highlighted the mug heart using a red 3D glaze pen as well as white gel pen "dots" to the eyes. The final touch was adding some grey dew drops underneath the image. I'm really happy with how the card turned out since Mother Nature has not been "playing" nice with the weather lately (love the rain/hate the wind) so my migraines are once again out of control. It's reached the point of try to focus on something or cry since nothing has been helping them. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenged entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2024/02/nbus-challenge-59.html" target="_blank">Never Before Used Schtuff (NBUS) #59 - Use Your NBUS</a> (stamp set, embossing folder)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://2craftycrittercrazies.blogspot.com/2024/02/challenge-83-anything-goes-with.html" target="_blank">Critter Crazy #83 - Anything Goes Featuring A Critter</a> (racoon)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="http://addictedtostamps-challenge.blogspot.com/2024/02/challenge-461-make-your-mark.html" target="_blank">Addicted to Stamps and More #461 - Make Your Mark</a> (prismacolor and copic markers)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.simplyellibelle.com/2024/02/ellibelles-crafty-wednesday-february.html" target="_blank">Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday Feb 2024 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://thecraftyaddicts.blogspot.com/2024/02/challenge-10.html" target="_blank">The Crafty Addicts #10 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="http://wordartwednesday.blogspot.com/2024/01/anything-goes-weeks-623-624.html" target="_blank">Word Art Wednesday Wks 623 to 624 - Anything Goes</a></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. Today I have a quick, and easy, project to share using a recycled tin can, some stickers, paper flowers and a long retired Stampin Up jumbo wheel. <br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by rinsing out a can of garbanzo beans/chickpeas and letting it dry thoroughly. Taking a long piece of scrap Neenah white card stock, I inked up the dry brush jumbo wheel using my Tim Holtz <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-walnut-stain-tim19534.html" target="_blank">walnut stain</a> distress ink pad by rolling the wheel across the pad several times. Once I had the whole scrap covered, I adhered it to the can using 5/8 x 27 in <a href="https://scrapbookpal.com/products/scor-pal-scor-tape-5-8-x-27-yds" target="_blank">Scor-Tape</a>. Digging into my stash of stickers and such, I pulled out a strip of ivy and bee stickers I've had for who knows how long, and an old package of Making Memories purple paper flowers. I started out by adhering the flowers using glue dots before adhering the ivy and bee stickers. The final touch was adding some crystal ice stickles to the flower centers. I'm really happy with how this "can" turned out especially since I've been dealing with a nasty migraine from the weather we've had here lately (and still have). One less "thing" going into a landfill or the ocean.<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/splitcoast-challenges-40/useit2024-646042/" target="_blank">Splitcoaststampers USEIT2024 - Use Your Unloved Stash</a> (stickers, paper flowers) </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://craftingfromtheheartchallengeblog.blogspot.com/2024/01/challenge-9.html" target="_blank">Crafting From The Heart #9 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://beautifulblossomschallenge.blogspot.com/2024/01/beautiful-blossoms-challenge-anything.html" target="_blank">Beautiful Blossoms #13 - Anything Flowers Goes With Optional Mood Board</a> (anything goes)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="http://cardsgalorechallenges.blogspot.com/2024/02/february-2024-crafts-galore-encore.html" target="_blank">Crafts Galore Encore #120 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thanks for stopping by today. I'm guest designing over at <a href="https://parkhoppingmyhappyplace.com/" target="_blank">Park Hopping My Happy Place</a> challenges this month and the theme is <b>Let's Celebrate</b>. Be inspired by the castle's pictured or you can use any other theme park related inspiration. For my card, I chose to go be inspired by <b>ALL</b> of the Disney© theme park castle and dug out an <a href="https://iostamps.com/" target="_blank">Impression Obsession</a> digital stamp called <a href="https://iostamps.com/products/h1835-dg-castle-with-swing?_pos=10&_sid=3e81ac3c1&_ss=r" target="_blank">Castle With Swing</a> (NBUS). It's part of their <i>Gary Robertson</i> line of digital images so if you haven't tried their digital stamps, you really should. The detail is amazing! <br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">After I printed it onto Neenah white card stock, I pulled out my <a href="https://castlearts.com/collections/watercolor-pencil-sets/products/120-piece-watercolour-pencil-set-in-zip-up-case" target="_blank">Castle Arts watercolor pencils</a> and got to coloring. Now with the way my migraines have been lately, this did take me about two weeks to color. Once the coloring was finished, I layered it, added silver mini brads and then distressed the edges of the layered panel using my <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-paper-distresser-tts00370.html" target="_blank">Tim Holtz paper distresser</a> then set aside. I then pulled out my <a href="https://www.mftstamps.com/search?type=product&q=wall+stencil" target="_blank">MFT brick wall stencil</a>, <a href="https://pfstamps.com/collections/paper-pouncers" target="_blank">paper pouncers</a> and <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-mowed-lawn-tim35008.html" target="_blank">mowed lawn distress ink</a> to create the card's background. I then adhered my layered image using pop up glue dots for a little dimension. The final touch was crystal ice stickles highlighting the water, crown and purple mushroom. My card this month is using another Thomas Kincade stamp from <i>Cornish Heritage Farms</i>. I haven't used this stamp in years probably because my migraines have been so bad and there is a LOT of detail to the images. Now, if you love <i>deep "cut"</i> red rubber stamps, then these stamps are not for you. Due to all of details in his paintings, the image is, or was, pressed onto the rubber. I tend to use the sticker image, or the book of Thomas Kincade paintings I received as a RAK, as reference to help me see what's tree, flower, snow, and so on. Also, the medium (markers, ink, paper, pencils, watercolors, etc) you use, determines how well the detail shows.<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started out by stamping the image in memento tuxedo black on Neenah white card stock before coloring using my <a href="https://castlearts.com/" target="_blank">Castle Arts</a> <a href="https://castlearts.com/collections/watercolor-pencil-sets" target="_blank">watercolor pencils</a> with a blender pencil. Once my image was colored and blended, I added memento tuxedo black ink directly to the sides of the "painting" before layering, adding brads then adhering it to a ballet blue card using glue dots (very important step). I then added some Sakura Moonlight 3D pens to color the "ornaments" on the pond's Christmas tree before adding LOTS of <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/3146420?cat=fav&perpage=48&thumbsonly=0&thumbcheck=" target="_blank">waterfall</a> and <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/stickles-glitter-glue-crystal-sgg01782.html" target="_blank">crystal</a> ice stickles. The reason for using the glue dots to adhere is because of all of the glitter glue can make the image layer "warp" if not adhered well enough. I've found thatwhen using only <a href="https://scrapbookpal.com/products/tombow-mono-adhesive-dispenser-permanent" target="_blank">mono adhesive</a> to adhere the layer, it will not stay put. Just saying. I'm thinking I may make using the Thomas Kincade stamps I have my monthly <i>Woodblock Wednesday</i> projects since it does take time to get the coloring right and they all might finally see ink again.<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Here's a side by side view:</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; The first card uses a freebie image from <a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Gecko Galz</a> for their monthly <a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/gecko-galz-monthly-gothic-challenge.html" target="_blank">goth challenge</a>. After printing, and layering it, I dug out some long forgotten brushed pewter brads and added those, I then took a Cuttlebug spiderweb embossing folder and dry embossed the card base before lightly stippling Tim Holtz <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-picket-fence-tim40781.html" target="_blank">picket fence</a> and <a href="https://stampersanonymous.com/tim-holtz-distress-ink-pad-chipped-sapphire-tim27119.html" target="_blank">chipped sapphire</a> distress inks using my <a href="https://pfstamps.com/collections/paper-pouncers" target="_blank">paper pouncers</a>. Digging through my flower stash, I found a couple of silk navy flowers, added those to the card using glue dots, and then stamped, punched and popped up my saying. I then used a black Sakura 3D glaze pen to make the saying stand out a bit more.</div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Challenges entered:</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://inspirationstationchallenge.blogspot.com/2024/01/inspiration-station-january-2024.html" target="_blank">Inspiration Station Jan 2024 - See Inspiration Pic</a> (inspired by the night and colors)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://digichoosday.blogspot.com/2024/01/wk-4-anything-goes-card-making-craft.html" target="_blank">Digi Choosday Wk 4 - Anything Goes</a> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://parkhoppingmyhappyplace.com/2024/01/01/january-2024/" target="_blank">Park Hopping My Happy Place Jan 2024 - Anything Goes Theme Park Optional The Secret Life Of Pets</a> (I went with inspiration from Disneyland's Haunted Mansion ride)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/splitcoast-challenges-40/useit2024-646042/" target="_blank">Splitcoaststampers USEIT2024 - Use Your Unloved Stash</a> (brads, silk flowers)</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsNQIg6Ez_Sk_Z3GXODwLlCJo8fzA-Ytcn5ogim5WwYn_wFfA_xitWFstm2UjRB6L7J8-9HiSVbhtdyf7CoJlMnFBul5xMK5K8xu7yaO3QtvDIKYn-ZbeD8ze_hJazZcarNc9I5SzSiMEQ0gzUqN8UdivyWCE0mN_1Er-1N7ghj2zgsJe5jP39qBj2t2Th/s700/GG%20Christmas%20Deer.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="700" data-original-width="563" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsNQIg6Ez_Sk_Z3GXODwLlCJo8fzA-Ytcn5ogim5WwYn_wFfA_xitWFstm2UjRB6L7J8-9HiSVbhtdyf7CoJlMnFBul5xMK5K8xu7yaO3QtvDIKYn-ZbeD8ze_hJazZcarNc9I5SzSiMEQ0gzUqN8UdivyWCE0mN_1Er-1N7ghj2zgsJe5jP39qBj2t2Th/s320/GG%20Christmas%20Deer.jpg" width="257" /></a></div>My second card also uses a freebie image from <a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Gecko Galz</a> for their January <a href="https://geckogalzscrapbooking.blogspot.com/p/gecko-galz-monthly-christmas-challenge.html" target="_blank">Christmas challenge</a><b>. </b>Unfortunately, I didn't get this one finished in time to for the challenge thanks my migraines. I kept this card extremely simple and layered the pre<b>-</b>colored image before adding brushed copper brads before adhering it to the burgundy card base. I then pulled out a long retired Stampin Up <i>Wonderful Words</i> set and stamped the celebrate underneath the image.
