Falling For Wednesdays Week 4

Welcome to week 4 of Falling For Wednesdays hosted by @kellysantidesigns 🍂🍁 Hop along with #ffwcardgroup2023 where each week holds beautiful fall splendor. This week’s fall theme is our only technique challenge: Create your own PLAID!  Now, anyone who knows me, knows fall is my favorite time of the year, with the Winter/Christmas season right behind it.  I love everything pumpkin spice and used that as inspiration for my card.

For mine, I took a couple of old retired Stampin Up solid line stamps I received from a friend (unknown set) and stamped it repeatedly in garden green and tangerine tango dye ink.  I then repeatedly stamped the "broken" line one in Tim Holtz fired brick and walnut stain distress inks before color spritzing a couple of markers.  My image panel consists of The Cat's Pajamas Pumpkin Spice Gnome digital set printed on Neenah white card stock then colored with Castle Arts pencils before layering.  After spritzing a little eggplant envy marker around the gnome, I adhered the image panel on some espresso card stock before adding copper brads then adhering to the card base with my plaid/flannel panel.  Then I added some copper cord along the edge, faux stitched a copper gel pen before adding some copper Not 2 Shabby bling.  The final touch was adding a small clay pumpkin pie slice next to the cup on the cup saucer.
