Daisies, Gingham & Butterflies

Second post for me today.  If you're looking for my Friends of SpeedyTV post, please scroll down one.

Today I have a sneak peek of two sets due to be released by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company on May 15th called Oopsy Daisy and Scenic Selections.  This card was inspired by several challenges including the Moxie Fab Card Creations Gingham challenge.

I started out by stamping my main images from Oopsy Daisy twice in memento tuxedo black onto MFP snow storm smooth card stock before coloring with prismacolor markers and cutting one of my daisies out for popping up later.  I then lightly stippled Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink around the daisies before layering.  For my background, I used a Tim Holtz ornamental die before stamping and stippling it with wild honey distress ink.  The card is also stamped and stippled with tattered rose distress ink before adding some MFP strawberry freeze gingham ribbon.  My final touches were some Making Memories pearl heart brads and butterflies from the soon to be released Scenic Selections with black ice stickles antenna.

Challenges card is submitted in:
