This week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge is to use the colors blue and white with another color of our choice. Well, I went with green since it's SUPPOSED to be springtime and decided to stamp some flowers. Of course, I cheated just a tad and had to add a little yellow for the flower centers.
I actually started this card over the weekend, however, thanks to my "infamous" migraines, it's taken 4 days to complete the card. I started out by stamping my Winter Crocus images from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company in memento tuxedo black ink on white storm premium paper before coloring with prismacolor markers and layering onto bang up blue linen paper. Then taking one of my cuttlebug embossing folders, I ran a piece of scrap white card stock through the big shot and then lightly stippled Adirondack sailboat blue ink over the raised lettering.
My final touches were to add some gorgeous royal blue satin ribbon with a green hat pin and some beads added onto it. I also added my signature faux brads before popping up a cut out crocus image twice just below the main layered image.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day and why don't you join this week's challenge? They are a lot of fun and definitely get the mojo juices flowing.
