February Blast From The Past!!!!!

Hi everyone.  It's time for another Taylored Expressions Blast From The Past Blog Hop.  For this month, the challenge was green - either the color or recycling something.  I chose to use the color in my card instead and make something celebrating spring.

I pulled out my Garden Party Blooms and Garden Party Critters sets.  After I stamped my main flowers on MFT white perfect panels, and colored them with prismacolor markers, I hand cut each of the flowers out so I could pop up two layers of flowers for extra dimension.

I then pulled out some Cosmo Cricket Restoration designer paper and cut out one of the green borders to use on my card over a wood looking designer paper from the same packet.  Once I had layered everything, I lightly stippled some Stampin Up! soft sky ink to fill in the white spots.  Now, what's flowers without some bees and butterflies?  Boring!  So, pulling out my trusty Garden Party Critter set, I stamped several bees, colored, and cut them out before popping them up with mini pop dots; doing the same thing with the butterfly as well.

I had so much fun with these sets, even with the freakin migraine that seems to come around for every BFTP blog hop. *rolls eyes*  Isn't it amazing what can be done with meds these days? LOL

Now, you're not going to want to miss the eye candy the rest of the participants have made up for you, so make sure you visit all of the blogs listed below and leave some love.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day!!
