Here's the Design Team:

Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.

I have two cards to share with you today.  The first one uses both the new Kiss Me Mini and the new Plywood background.  I really like the snarky sayings on the new mini.  They're definitely going to give someone a smile, or laugh, on the receiving end of a card.

The background is stamped in Tim Holtz walnut stain ink with brushed corduroy and vintage photo inks stippled over and around the edges of the panel to give more of a "wood grain" feeling. The frog was then stamped in memento black and colored using prismacolor markers before stippling tumbled glass distress ink around the edges for the sky.  I only added brushed brass brads for embellishments.

My second card uses the new Plywood background along with the new Tree Frogs set.  Again I stamped the background in walnut ink before stippling brushed corduroy and vintage photo inks to give the "wood grain" feeling.  I then stamped the frog onto scrap white card stock, colored using prismacolor markers, then cut out and set aside.  After die cutting a few leaves using a Spellbinders leaf die set, those were added using glue dots before adding the cut out frog using dimensionals.  After adding my saying along with some brads, I added three ladybug stickers for the final touch.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day and don't forget to stop by the rest of the design team blogs to leave some love for a chance to win today's featured set.

Come on back tomorrow for more creativity.

  3. Both of these are fabulous cards. Love how you colored your frog and sponged the edges of the image. The Father's Day card is cute for the little lady bugs you placed and your leaves.
