Who's That Girl Gets Medicare and Hops Down The Bunny Trail

Welcome to MFT's mid month VIP Hop and Shop! You should have just come from Frances's blog, and if not you need to start at Kim's blog and complete the hop all the way through. Trust me, there is some AWESOME eye candy you don't want to miss.

Tonight MFT's Who’s That VIP Birthday Girl? kit retails for only $36 and contains the following and will be able to be found here:

Who’s That Birthday Girl FREE Invitation Only MINI set ($9 value)Birthday Button Mix Birthday Baby Braddies Mix Birthday Ribbons Clear Spica Glitter Pen Sparkly Fluff in Cotton Candy (pink)

Now how awesome is that!?

For my Who's That Girl card, I chose to go with the "June Cleever" look since it's going to be my dad's birthday card. He turns 65 in just two weeks and has just gotten his Medicare card, so when he called me last weekend to tell me this, he announced "Now I feel old". The inside says "You look good for your age". I thought he would get a kick out of that.

The background paper is from Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry collection and the button & baby braddies are from the Chocolate Kiss collections.

Also being released tonight is another totally cute set by Stephanie Fizer called What's Crackin'? for $15.95 and it also has a digital paper pack being released tonight as well. Total cuteness if you ask me!!

I had a total blast making this card. First, I printed off Stephanie Fizer's spring digital paper on Sweet Tooth cardstock before stamping my images on white perfect panels twice and coloring with prismacolor markers then cutting out & popping up on dimensionals.

Sponging inks around the main image panel and the card itself just added some overall softness before adding some MFT Spring Ribbon Nest on the side.

I hope you enjoyed my projects for the night. Now on to Jessie's blog where I'm sure she is going to wow your socks off!

  2. Wow, you did great kiddo, I loved your June Cleaver card. Funny, I was thinking last month's card with the apron was Donna Reed and I thought the dress had a 50's look - so you nailed it.
