Cottage In The Woods

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Where has February gone already? Geez, it seems like we were just celebrating Christmas and now it's almost March.

I have another Kincade from the archives for you today that I thought I had posted, but, nope not yet. This stamp is called A Perfect Summer's Day by Cornish Heritage Farms, but it also reminds me of Spring with all of the flowers blooming and the green grass, since Spring is the only time you see green grass in Central California.

This image is stamped in pallet noir on watercolor paper and then colored using Stampin Up! Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an aquapainter. I used the Stampin Up! photo corner punch with vintage brads to frame the image and stippled Tim Holtz walnut stain ink around the edges to "dirty" it up a bit for more of a rustic feel.
