Welcome to July's blog hop!  I am really excited about this months releases.  They are all fantastic for any type of stamping technique.

My card for you today features Basic Grey's Kioshi designer paper along with today's featured set Lotus Blossoms for a clean, crisp and somewhat elegant look.  I stamped all of the images in memento tuxedo black onto white card stock before coloring with prismacolor markers then stippled Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink around the edges to help fill in the sky.  In order to highlight the water a bit more, I also stippled a little bit of broken china ink under the lily pad before stippling some milled lavender to help soften the white parts in the sky and then layering.  Once all of my layering was finished, I added some white baby brads and lavender organdy ribbon along with ice stickles to highlight my images. One of the lotus flowers is also popped up for some added dimension.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day and don't forget to stop by the rest of the design team blogs to leave some love for a chance to win today's featured set.
