I finally decided to ink up and use some Hero Arts stamps I've had collecting dust and desperately needing to see some ink. After stamping the bird collage in memento ink and coloring with prismacolor markers, I started stippling various Tim Holtz distress inks around it to age and soften the colored image. Once my coloring and stippling was finished and layered, I stamped some additional Hero Arts images on scrap paper before punching out butterflies and cutting out the flower to add as embellies. The only other embellishments added were some pearl stickers, die cut flourishes, and hand drawn flight "trails" using a black marker.
