Today's featured set is great for those masculine cards that as stampers we always seem to have trouble making from time to time.  I have a few projects to share today to showcase both masculine and feminine uses for this set; yet each with a delightfully vintage feel as well.

My first project uses some DCWV Timeless Treasure designer paper, vintage brads and chocolate ribbon paired with MFP whitemahogany and blue card stocks.  Once all of my images, and saying, were stamped in memento tuxedo black ink, I stippled Tim Holtz brushed corduroy distress ink to "age" the card stock before layering.

The second card uses some Costco designer paper I've had in my stash for a few years now along with MFP mahogany and chipboard card stocks along with some twine and vintage brads.  Once my images were stamped on MFP white card stock in memento black ink, I colored them with prismacolor markers before layering and stippling Tim Holtz brushed corduroy distress ink over and around the images.

My final project showcases a slightly feminine use of this set while still using the same card stocks I had sitting on my stamp desk along with some scrap Costco designer paper from my stash.  After stamping my images in memento black ink on corn husk card stock then coloring with prismacolor markers, I spritzed some chocolate marker over the image in order to distress it a bit more.  Then taking some vanilla prima flowers and cocoa ink, I stamped my own background onto the flowers before adding them to the card along with ribbon and a bling center.

I hope I've been able to help provide some inspiration for you today.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.  Don't forget to stop by the rest of the design team blogs to leave some love for a chance to win today's featured set.
