Blue Carnation Damask - My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch #25

Hello everyone!  It's time for another My Time Made Easy Pretty Pattern Sketch Challenge.   I really, really like this week's sketch for it's versatility.

For my card, I chose to go with a brighter blue theme using turquoise as my main color base.  After downloading the Be Dazzled digital image set and breaking it a part, I printed off the framed flowers twice so I could pop one of the flowers up later.  After everything was colored, and my Dainty Damask digital paper was done printing, I pulled out some silk bridal cake flowers (seriously? on a cake?) I found on clearance at Walmart to frame the carnations with and added a small white pre-made bow.  Once that was done, and my one carnation popped up, I added some Tim Holtz scattered straw distress stickles to the centers of the digital flowers and I was done.  Total time for preparation and assembly: 20-25 minutes tops.  You have to love those digital images and papers.

That's all for today.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

  1. Bonnie, your card is so pretty! Your coloring is great and I love the shiny centers of the flowers. I really like the inside of your card too. I haven't been taking the time to decorate the insides but it's always a fun surprise when you open a handmade card to find more beauty. ((hugs))
